I went here with my mother. We entered thru the doors at 1:17pm. It was such a fun atmosphere, even though there were only about 3 tables occupied when we arrived. They close at 2pm on Sundays, so my Mom and I both ordered something pretty fast. I ordered a grilled cheese and tomato (being a vegetarian, there wasn't really anything on the menu I could eat. ) It came with fries and I added a side of baked beans. I was so excited to see that as an option on the menu. My Mom had French toast with bacon and a black coffee. The ambiance was so fun and lively. They had really cool retro decor and played the same type of music. The waitress was friendly when she greeted us, was attentive to our needs, and our food arrived, piping hot and EXACTLY the way we ordered it. It is very tasty. My mom and I enjoyed our time there, and loved looking at all the different salt and pepper shakers at each table. At 1:47 a couple walked thru the door, sat themselves at a booth. My mom and I were floored because you guys close at 2pm. We were like okay they are gonna just grab a shake and leave. Nope, instead they both order burgers, fries, onion rings, with all the fixins and 2 cokes. We couldn't believe it. I guarantee you the staff in the back had penalty cleaned out the fry-o-later. Cleaned off the grill, and were just waiting for us to finish and then they would pack up. Not now, they had to cook more food, and this couple wasn't courteous of the time, they took their time eating and were completely oblivious to the fact they were there past closing hours. When we left we went to a couple other stores in the plaza, and we were walking back to our car at 2:30 and peeked in, and they were STILL THERE! I felt so bad for the staff. They have lives too, possibly plans and places to go and they were just waiting on them to leave. When we got back to my mother's house I just couldn't let it go. My brain turning issues creative gears I called back to Nellie Rose. Someone answered, I told her who I was and that we had just eaten there and acknowledged the situation. I gave her a suggestion. When they are 30 minutes from closing they should offer a "Last minute Menu". On that menu will be things that can be prepared fairly quickly. Ie: Grilled cheese, BLT, Tuna or Tuna Melt, Reuben with "Chips" and a pickle, sodas, and milkshakes. At this point the fry-o-later is shut off. This way the customer will now be aware of the closing time, and HOPEFULLY be more courteous to their stay. I hope the next time we go there, they will have taken my advice. Their time is just as valuable as...

We arrived to an already full parking lot, and when we gave our name there were just 2 people ahead of us waiting. We inquired as to how long the wait would be, and the waitress assured us just a few minutes as only the 2 people waiting were yet to be seated. As we went outside to wait another couple of young ladies were coming in and asked how long the wait was. We shared that it should be quick. The 2 people that were ahead of us were seated and we stepped back into the hallway to take their position in line. A few minutes later, the same waitress that took our name walked by us looking for the next young ladies as she was escorting them in she asked us if we had checked in yet. Really???? Oh well - we tried. We left and hit our...
Read moreHow disappointing!!! Website says opens at 5:30am, but they open at 6:30. Don't bother sitting at any of the booths...ALL broken, you sink a mile into it and can't reach the table. LOUD music so patrons have to talk over it. Home fries are mushy boiled potatoes (nothing "fried" about them) with too much paprika and no other seasoning. Eggs taste like a dirty grill - even tho we arrived at opening. CHEAP cuts of 🥓, and cheap coffee brew, all for $27 for 2 basic breakfasts - 2 eggs, bacon, home not fries, toast and coffee! The servers are untrained and don't seem to understand they work in hospitality! Arrived when there were 4 other patrons in the whole restaurant and it took 10 mins to get coffee and 25 for food. Save yourself time and money...go...
