UPDATE 6-27-18 Took a star away. I usually get the Chicken Pot Pie. With this store being a test store, you'll see changes at this store you may or may not see in other stores. One of the new changes is that they lowered the price of the Pot Pie $1, but they took the side dish it came with away; so to get the side back it'll cost you $2.29, so basically they raised the cost by $1.29.
The recently did a make over on the inside. Some changes were OK and others I hate: such as the lighting. There are beams and the wiring wraps around them and enters the fixture. Looks terrible. Looks like the electricians didn't even measure the wire length and just wrapped the extra wire around the beam. They will be hard to keep clean, especially in a high grease environment. I also hate the old plank look with modern. Other than these things, rest is just okay.
I eat here fairly often, more times than not we order take home, however lately, to go orders are wrong but they will make it right. Have noticed that in the past few months, the to go orders contain less than they used to. There is about an in inch or more of space at the tops of the round to go containers. We don't do carry out much any more.
In restaurant experiences have been better. Food and Service is great. They will accommodate any specialty diet request as much as possible.
A note on tipping: I pay gratuity in cash because the servers don't get their gratuities for two weeks as Uncle Bob puts them in their checks so they get use of the monies until then. Consider all the tips in the entire nation earning interest for two weeks. That can earn quite a bit over time.

Read moreThe place needs cleaned… I’m talking about behind the benches you sit at the tables… there are particles of food in the cracks, it is very noticeable and it’s also very disgusting. When I sit in the back of the restaurant in the middle I guess where you can see behind the counter… the floor is disgusting. There was a lot of just garbage , napkins, wrappers, ect, needs swept. I see so many employees standing around doing nothing, specially the host and cashier, they could at least be sweeping floors and underneath counters when the place isn’t busy, Vacuum too for Christ sakes! There are cobwebs above light fixtures above customer’s heads. The vents on the ceilings are very dusty and dirty. You have so many employees standing around they need some guidance in the department or if you would like, I will willingly tell them myself! Waitresses that I usually have are very good though. Read moreI kept hearing how great the Bob Evans feasts were... so I ordered the premium farmhouse feast for Thanksgiving, I placed my order 8 days in advance, added a pecan pie to the order, arrived at my scheduled pick up time had to wait because they didn't have my ham packaged yet and the were out of pecan pies which I found odd since I ordered so far in advance but just asked them to refund the pie. Then when I started preparing my meal realized they didn't give me my Mac and Cheese called them I had to make another trip to Bob Evans to pick it up. I get it home to find they only gave me half of the mac n cheese they were suppose to. Still trying to stay positive I decided to just pay for another Mac and cheese and just have it door dashed, just to find Bob Evans isn't accepting door dash orders, the food taste good but the reason for catering the meal was to avoid frustration and stress and well that just didn't happen.
