Okay so here is something more than embarrassing the cooks did to my order. I used an online service to order my food, while the online service acknowledged the order (and know it by now that the embarrassment they have caused), they refused to fulfill the order ( it came from the kitchen) and the guy in the reception counter kept requesting the kitchen to fulfill the same.
The guy on the reception did the best in the interest of the customer service and he in fact called the manager to push the kitchen cook to do the needful, the manager seems to have provided a cold shoulder to that guy too.
Finally the kitchen confirmed that they are working on the remaining order while making me wait for more than 20 minutes. I am not coming to this place anymore the reasons are as follows.
They could refuse the service at the first go itself. It's bay area and a tonnes of options are available around. The customer service is a reflection of your behavior, it was really bad. Means they won't care tomorrow if something goes wrong with the order. The kitchen visibly appears to be untidy. Something I would worry about. Manager giving a cold shoulder is something red flag, despite his own employee is pushing got better consumer service.
No more visits. Good...

Come here to get free embarrassment from their servers with food. !!!!
I wish I could give this place negative stars. Went there few days back, 3 guys in front. 2 looked young & high and 1 (with mustache, mole and unnecessary smile on face) was rude. This guy, kept smiling weirdly while he took our order. Then, he heard my order wrong and we asked him to Bring what we ordered, without touching the wrong food he brought. He started shouting in front of other customers on the table while we were eating. He refused to let us speak and kept saying he didn't hear wrong but we changed our mood about the food. Then he went to front desk and said loudly to other 2 guys “we should start keeping voice recorder... ” sometime later he shouted from front desk “return their money, otherwise they create issue....Etc” . He literally embarrassed us while we ate. Few mins later he came and threw 50 cents on our table while we ate (because the item we had placed the order was 50 cents lesser than the item he charged us for).
Honestly, we didn't care for 50 cents, we came to have a nice meal as we were hungry since morning. The guy embarrassed us thrice...
Read moreYour experience at this place might depend on the time of visit. The food is generally above average and I don't have any problems with that. But the reception is dramatically different depending on who the cashier is. Especially the punjabi speaking staff (the lady and the almost-mute young lad) have no respect for people who don't order in punjabi or hindi. I personally can speak hindi but I prefer to use English for the obvious reason that we are in the US. They do not greet, do not (or cannot) respond to questions about your order. I had to wait 5 minutes before I could get an opener after ordering a bottle of coca-cola; I was standing right in front of the staff, near the cashier's counter, looking for an opener. On the contrary, when punjabi/hindi speaking people enter/order they get a red carpet welcome. Too sad that south Indians are not even treated with minimal respect in a restaurant serving only south indian food. I don't intend to divide people but just want to flag the those that do.
Management: Either get rid of that staff or close the place. My comments are not just my opinions but I heard similar stuff from friends and...
