I've visited Chandi Chowk Food Truck thrice now, and it's been a journey of hits and misses. The highlight for me has consistently been their Pani Puri. A generous serving of 8 pieces allows for a full exploration of their 5 distinct flavors, with enough left over to revisit your favorites. The "khatta meetha" flavor, in particular, is a standout, striking the perfect balance between tangy and sweet.

Their chai also deserves a mention - it's pretty good and makes for a comforting sip, especially on a chilly day.

However, my latest experience with their Samosa Chaat was disappointing. The samosas tasted stale, and one was so hard it almost led to a dental disaster. When I brought this up to the cashier, my concerns were unfortunately overlooked. This brings me to the aspect of customer service, which I feel is a significant area for improvement at Chandi Chowk.

Despite this experience, the allure of their Pani Puri might bring me back. It's a dish they've truly mastered, with flavors that keep you wanting more. Just a heads-up if you're planning a winter visit - the truck can get crowded, and it tends to be cold, so dressing warmly is advisable.

In terms of ambiance, the food truck is quite innovative with its space, creating a cool vibe that adds to the street...

Came to Chandni Chowk on a Saturday evening following some recommendation on Instagram. I’m glad I did not drive all the way just for this, met up with a friend so that made up for the drive.

The food is pricey and I did not find it as unique as described in many Instagram blogs. The matka chai was the worst purchase, the flavor of the chai was alright but you could feel the matka taste, and maybe my specific matka was not baked all the way so I could feel the clay. The pani puri was more or less same as anywhere else but they are pricier though they give 8 it’s better to split between two. The dahi papdi chat was the best of the three items we had and was a little bit on the sweeter side. Service was great we were with a toddler and the gentleman at the pani puri counter entertained her with some dry puris, kudos on that. Ambiance was indeed great, am sure it gets better as the sun goes down. Music was punchy and ample space to stand around. Parking is a bit tough as you have to park across the street in the lot shared with Apna Bazaar and that’s...

Step into the vibrant world of Chandni Chowk, where the aroma of authentic Indian street food dances in the air and Bollywood beats set the perfect desi vibe. This food truck is not just about food; it's an experience.

With its colorful décor and fantastic Bollywood playlist, Chandni Chowk creates an atmosphere that transports you straight to the heart of India. The art on the food truck itself is a testament to their attention to detail and commitment to the desi experience.

But let's talk about the food! From the tangy delight of pani puri to the rich flavors of Chole Bhature, every bite is a taste of India's culinary diversity. And don't miss out on their specialty – chai served with Maska bun, a perfect blend of flavors that will leave you craving for more.

What's even better? The service is as awesome as the food. Friendly staff, quick service, and a genuine passion for sharing the flavors of India with everyone. Chandni Chowk isn't just a food truck; it's a celebration of India's rich culinary heritage, served up with a side of warmth and...

Very few Indian food places in the Bay Area come that close to the actual food taste we find in India. This is one of those food trucks. I tried the chole khulche here and the chole seems to be the best I have had in the Bay Area. Even the khulchas were so soft and melted right in your mouth. The Samosas are very authentic, the crispiness of the outer puff, the softness once it breaks and the filling inside it is quite close to the one actually found on the Indian streets. The Matka chai here is outstanding. I can drive all the way here just for that chai. It has that strong chai taste just the way I like it and they serve it in small clay pots in chai cup holders you find in India. I also loved the vibe here. It's an open atmosphere with pit fires and steel drums to place your food. During my last visit I tried the Pani Puri. They serve 5 kinds of Pani and three of them are must try viz. Khatta Meetha, Pineapple and Pomegranate. The pineapple was very unique and something worth giving a shot.
