Firehouse Subs Yager Place — Restaurant in Fremont

Wed., Oct26,2022 Disappointing and hard to forget. I was the only customer in the store and three employees working the dinner hour. Cashier could enter my order (a sandwich) correctly. Employee making my order did not read the order, made the sandwich with double meat and then asked me if I ordered double meat. Another employee remakes the sandwich and adds the wrong condiments (oil in stead of vinegar). To top it all off, I carryout and one block from the store discover a black hair in my sandwich. I returned to the store and had to prove there was hair in the sandwich by finding the hair for the employee. I did not receive an apology for the fiasco I experienced when I placed the order nor for the hair in my sandwich. I requested a refund of my money and yet still no mention of or attempt to apologize! Bad service and three employees who were not equipped to provide quality customer service. I will not return and management needs to consider additional training and appropriate head cover...

I can't believe how terrible the customer service was at this firehouse. First time I wasn't greeted with "welcome to firehouse!"..instead the entire 3 person staffed glared at me then looked away...that's a small complaint..I also found a hair that literally went through half of my sandwich after waiting 20 minutes or more on two medium sized sandwiches. I later realized its because they had given priority to a very large online order. My friend and I were the only customers there but instead of what should have been a quick dinner we had to wait three times as long..for them to finish an online order, make ours, and then replace one of our sandwiches. The manager also gave me the most insincere apology and didn't even bother to comp anything..which with the time spent and the hassle would've seemed like the proper thing to do. First of all the food was fine. Have never had bad food at a firehouse. Got there at 8:39, they close at 9. Employees had already cleaned up the lobby area and stacked all the chair up to keep people from sitting. Took about 15 minutes to make our sandwiches and they put them in a to go bag and implied that we were to leave. Sat and ate quick anyway because we were driving. Overhead from the back room that people cannot be in there after 9. Was out the door at 9:03. They just really did not want...
