Runza Restaurant — Restaurant in Fremont

Im very disappointed! Hands down Runza is my favorite burger joint and has been since i was a kid, and to feel that I want to share my bad experience doesn't thrill me. I will continue to go to this location, but only during the day, the service and food i recieved tonight were both awful. I went through the drive thru and ordered 2 burger meals for my kids (which were ordered special made) and when i got home both were plain and looked like someone stomped on them then dipped them in the grease vat. So, I drove back to get this fixed and brought the fries with, figured they could replace them as well since there would be a wait to get the new burgers. I do believe in treating people who handle your food with respect (we've all seen "Waiting"). After waiting 25min in the drive through then another 20 in parking lot i was brought round 2. One burger was right this time, the second was not cooked all the way through and the fries were the same ones i recieved an hour ago! I brought this up and was told sorry but we are closed now. ??? I have always recieved great service at this location during the day, but will never go back for evening shift. I hope the owner reads this and responds, because I know Im not the only one who notices this. I dont want anything free, just would like it fixed for the people...

Comfort food! Runza is what I, someone from Texas, would refer to as a Midwest thing. They're mostly a Nebraska thing, but they also have a couple locations in Kansas and one other state I believe. Anyway, a runza is unique and amazing. It's ground beef, onion, cabbage, and spices baked into a bun. If you go through NE, and come across a Runza, try it!!! My husband swears they have the best fries as well. We've been eating at one Runza or another all across NE for years! This location closes their dining area at 8, so from then until 9:30pm, it's drive thru only. As a consumer, I was a little bummed they close so early, but for their employees, I guess that's a good thing. While in Fremont, since we love Runza so much, we ate there a few times. Overall, no issues with service, our food was always hot and we received what we ordered, nothing was ever missing from the bag. We never went inside, so I can't attest to the cleanliness of the location, but from the drive thru window, nothing negative caught my attention. We will definitely return when we make our next...

Very disappointed with meal. Cheeseburger was overcooked and lack the juiciness that I remembered. The onion rings were not burnt but overcooked and were different. The breading was more like a corn dog batter than the flaky crust of the past.

It had been a while that we had eaten here. Runza is not on our usual route home.

As a side comment, I'm not certain what is happening to the restaurants in Fremont. The food is not being prepared to the taste that I remember. Burger King, Sonic, Taco John's, and Pizza Hut. The service is less or lacking at some of the above as well as Arby's and sometimes McDonald's. McDonald's is the only one where the the quality and taste of the food has...
