Flying Idlis — Restaurant in Fremont

This is the first time I have ever written a negative review anywhere, but this experience was just way too much.

I ordered 2 plates of vada and waited 35 minutes without getting my order. I had to leave due to time constraints, and they did not provide a refund.

The most frustrating part: I kept asking about my order, and every time they said “2 minutes” and kept wasting my time. If they couldn’t handle the rush, they could have just been honest and canceled the order right away. Instead, they strung me along. I asked multiple times, can you please cancel my order if not already ready.

When I finally had no choice but to leave, they didn’t care at all. No apology, no refund, nothing. Just happy to let a paying customer walk away empty-handed.

Just like how we used to eat in Hyderabad at night, this place gives a similar experience. Love the bondas , all the idly & dosas and Irani chai! Unlike the template papad like dosa you eat at other places, this place gives the bandi feeling of eating thick and well fermented dosa.
