One of the best most efficient McDonald's in all of the Bay Area. Two lines for taking two orders, which zipper-merge into one, and you pull up to the first window. Like a maestro guiding a symphony, a veteran of the drive-thru effortlessly tells you your total, in between taking two orders while simultaneously punching buttons on a pad with one hand, while passing you a card reader or taking your cash with the other. In speed which can only be rivaled by Hermes himself, you have you change and/or card back in your hand before you can blink, along with you receipt. Like you need it though, because as soon as you have it and pull up to the next window, you are read back your order again, flawlessly. Which is correct, because they never make a mistake, and just as fast as you paid, you have your food. All of it. No mistakes. Nothing missing. Perfection. And all within 30 seconds or less.
This is, by far, the epitome of what McDonald's was supposed to be. Fast, well cooked, cheap, food. This is the height of humanity. This is what evolution has led us to. The combination of two of the greatest human inventions of all time, democracy and capitalism, merged with the concept of feeding as many humans as possible as cheaply and efficiently as we have ever been able to do, has led us right here. To McDonald's. But not ALL McDonald's. THIS McDonald's.
When civilization has long been destroyed, our buildings in ruins, our bones turned to dust, our language and written works things of the past, future humans will uncover the Golden Arches, and praise it for what it was. A testament to humanities ability to provide. An idol to sustenance. A God of food, with a form not of the mortal realm. Two upside down U's. An immortal God, always hungry. Always gaping with its mouth to the ground, reigning from above, swallowing other weaker food God's whole, as they scream in terror from their slow and painful deaths, eaten alive by the all engulfing McDonald's diety of destruction and burgers... Poor Wendy... the screams of that little girl will echo throughout the cosmos for time, Neverending...
This McDonald's right here, is the best on the planet. You are not worthy. But thats ok. They will allow you to partake of its bounty. As long as you pay the tithe. For it is written. For it is...
Read moreOne of my favorite fast food restaurants, the cashier at the drive thru always very friendly and efficient with the service, food very tasty and fresh, definitely I recommend it!
I had to edit my review after today's visit, I placed my order through one of their kiosks inside the lobby, I waited there, the Manager Maria Hernandez asked me if I needed help, I told her I was waiting for 719 order, after a minute or two she called my order, I asked her for 4 BBQ sauce, she told me is $0.25 each that she can give me only one for free (I never got charged before, looks like this is new now) so I told her one is ok (I didn't want to spend more time using my debit card just to pay one dollar). I went to my car, I already was driven and my son which was waiting in the car asked me for the drink, I looked at the order's receipt tag and yes, I purchased a large coke, I went back to the restaurant, I saw the employee, I asked her nicely if today's was her first day, she told me no, that she's a Manager, I told her well you forgot to gI've me my drink, she told me with an attitude that I should have asked her for it, I told her that it was part of her job to ensure to hand my order complete to me, not for me to remind her (in other scenario the employee will say at least sorry, but none of this happened) That's when I asked to speak to the manager and she told me she was the manager, I requested that I want to speak to another manager, the one above her or another manager, but still, she was arguing, so I told the other manager about it, not because the BBQ sauce additional charge now but her attitude, the way she responded to me, that I should be the one to ask her for my drink (but with a mean tone in her voice) And I think is understandable too, but as employee you have to provide a good customer service and ensure customers are out of the restaurant with their complete orders, that's part of their responsibility, no matter if you are regular employee or manager, I believe Maria Hernandez needs to be retrain in customer service and have better attention and attitude with...
Read moreOrdered mcribs and other meal got the order but missing couple of items.then has to go around on line w/the drive tru line .we trust the employees that they checked our order when they say it's all there.then its not.i know mistakes are made but this is not the first time and we are not the only one that experienced it.this mistake is one of the biggest reason why drive-thru service get slow because there is no more guarantee that your employees can be trusted in doing their job correctly. They are rushing because they are busy because now next time I order I will check everything in my order and will not leave until satisfied how much time that this employees think that they save rushing putting my orders together .I hope they realized that we also work for a living and we go to McDonald's because of a reputation that they hold for a long time .work ethics you used to have employees that takes pride of their job and it's what makes your drive-thru service unparalleled 10 years ago.i hope I participated way earlier But I have no idea if my voice will be heard Coz I complained many times but nothing happens. So I stop going to your store anywhere until mc ribs were brought back.but I dont know if going back will worth it when you still experience the same mistakes...
