Print & supply associate Bobbie Is very rude
I had a really bad experience at this Staples today (12/17) at the Printing service. I went to make copies there today around 7:30. The printing machine I was using stopped working while i was using it so I asked the lady (middle aged) who was working in that section ( Bobby) for help. She rudely approached me and asked āWhatā and I said the machine is not working. She went over and shut off the entire machine. I asked her for the receipt and she ignored me and walked away. I continued to wait as I had more copies to make. I went over to another machine which also wasn't working, and the one printer had sign which said out of service. I asked her if there is any other machine I can use and she looked at me and walked away. She continued to ignore me for 10 min and then called her supervisor. The supervisor came and I told him the machine i used was asking for store associate approval and she ignored me. He tried to manually print the paper and she started yelling from the back saying I already restarted the printer and walked around furiously and beating the machine like I did something wrong. I asked the supervisor if there is any other printer I can use and he asked her if all the printers are down. She barged out of the station, yelling, āno one said anything to me,ā and shut off all the machine. Then she said if you really want the receipt come back tomorrow, I donāt want to do it today. As a supervisor, he did not do anything and the lady was just being rude for no reason. If she was having a bad day, it should not be taken out on customers (either the store manager should give her some days off to get herself together or she should see a doctor for her uncontrollable anger issues). There was no need for her to yell at me for asking for help because the machine was showing āstore associate assistanceā. After all she is not there for charity work, she is getting paid as a sales associate to help customers. Maybe she should be refreshed on her job duties. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI placed a same-day print order at the store at 2 PM. However, their cutoff time was 12 noon and I got an email saying it will be ready by the next day, 8pm. I later learned that Office Depot offers same-day printing with a cutoff time of 2PM. So later in the evening I went to Staples to see if they would match the service time of Office Depot (note Staple advertises that they match competitors price and service). The manager I spoke to at the print section was unnecessarily rude and obnoxious, and told me that I should just go to Office Depot!
I was still OK with that, but what was most shocking was that when I called the next day to pick up my print, I was told that the order was cancelled by the manager. They cancelled my order without my permission and without ever checking with me - probably some vindictive behavior. When I complained to the corporate, they lied that I stumped out of the store! I in fact stayed in the store after the encounter and even purchased a few items. Looks like I am not the only person complaining about the folks in the print section. These folks...

When we tried to purchase the laptop, he was told that it had to be purchased online. He took a picture of the shelf tag that clearly says "$299.99" and came home. The next day, I went online to purchase the laptop and found that they do not offer an HP laptop for this price. It says right on the tag in the picture that the sale lasts until June 30th. So I called the store and asked them why I could not find the laptop at the advertised price and they told me to call their customer service office. The guy at customer service asked me for the zip code of the store that gave me the sale price so he could call them to verify the price. This took so long that I just hung up. I have never had to go through so much just to purchase one simple sale item. I have never purchased anything from Staples before and I am never going to this...
