Royal Tea USA — Restaurant in Fremont

So, I have been ordering no less than forty drinks from this place since when I discovered it last year. It was my go-to milk tea place until they changed the menu (and possibly the owner). Since then, the quality has gone down. Now their regular tea and milk tea drinks don't have the fragrant tea smell like they used to. So sad. Fortunately we discovered a better tea place in Newark, but I won't mention it here in respect of the owner. This business, however, will continue to exist thanks to its location near the high school. You can also order food here. I have tried their lo-mein and it was decent. I normally do not order Chinese food because they are typically oil based and not my cup of tea, figuratively speaking, but one time my son and I were hungry and tried the lo-mein like I said and it was decent. Had to pick up a friend nearby so found this place to be a good meeting spot for a drink. Plenty of parking spots and street parking or even in the next lot.

It seemed to specialize in cheese mousse or salted cheese. Very similar to Happy Lemon and I do like Happy Lemon’s salted cheese. Since it was already after 5pm and I still wanted to be able to sleep at night, I only got a small Cheese Mousse Mountain Green Tea. Otherwise I would have gotten a large Cheese Mousse Oolong tea.

The taste was not bad. I should have gotten more than 25% sugar, but all good. Refreshing and I would visit again. Wonder how their regular milk tea...

One of the best milk tea in the Bay Area. They brew their tea one cup at a time so the tea is not over steeped like some other places ( you don’t get the bitter or astringent tea taste even with lower level of sugar). And their cheese mousse topping ( crema) is super tasty! And they use this really convenient cap where you can slide open on one side so when you drink your milk tea that has cheese mousse on top you can taste the mouse along with the tea ( vs with a standard seal and straw you can’t really taste the cheese foam on top of the drink),...
