Angry Chickz - Fresno (N West Ave) — Restaurant in Fresno

Angry Chickz is a Nashville Style Chicken Tender Chain of fast food restaurants that opened their first location in North Glendale also called the upper west side of Metro Phoenix. This fast food is a much better quality than your typical fast food. The chicken seems a comparable quality to supermarket chicken. Also the cole slaw is usually good.

The biggest problem are the heat levels. They come in 6 heat levels but anything over medium (hot, x hot, angry) is NOT EDIBLE. Medium is plenty HOT.

Another issue is take out and the condition of the food. We did take out. The only tender that was very good and crunchy was the tender called country. I have to say it really was crunchy, really moist, tender, and delicious.

But sadly all the other tenders didn't take out well and were all wet and moist of the outside with a powdery sensation in the mouth that was weird. The chicken however was very moist, and tender. The slaw was very good and fresh, crunchy and didn't drip a bit. The buttery rice was also very good. Portions were bigger than what I was expecting. We got way more than we needed.

We encountered a slight opening hiccup while ordering. We ordered a side of mac 'n' cheese. The cashier read back mac 'n' cheese....but we didn't get it but got more fries instead.

The food might be better enjoyed to have dining in instead...

They do not have a phone and there was a slight problem with my Door Dash order, but with the very excellent service I was given a complementary meal replacement after a simple misclick. This was my first time ever ordering and was not aware of the extreme level of how hot the ANGRY level was so by doing a simple misclick on the door dash app, my order was completely ruined. I asked if they had any remedy for this situation and they were happy to assist me with a complementary replacement meal. 5 stars IF they ever get a phone number, I hate having to use Door Dash or driving in to place my orders. So four stars for the inconvenience, thank you very much for the professional and very good food atmosphere. And no, I was NOT trying to scam them for a free meal.....scrolling down on Door Dash and it changing to Angry level was a simple mistake on my part. After checking the order, I had no idea I had to look out for the Sign the waiver portion of the order being my first time ordering from there. I award them 4 stars based on everything else, the professionalism and courtesy and will be going again...

(Blackstone location) Literally the WORST food I've ever purchased! And I was really suprised since my oldest son loves the Hanford location. I sent him a picture of my food to ask "... did I order right?! because this is terrible!" and his response was "what the hell is that?!... I'll take you to the Hanford one to try their food." Long story short at Blackstone; the "buttery rice" was neither buttery, nor seasoned, nor salted or even fully cooked. The mac&cheese was literally noodles with watery-milky juice (definitely not even "sauce" consistency), the chicken was soggy yet overcooked at the same time, and their "house sauce" was just icckkk. The pickles were good.

About a week later, He did end up getting me a AngryMac bowl in the Hanford store which was really yummy. 110% better than my first experience! Zero complaints.
