Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Fresno

I visited this location twice in the last month. The first time I received my order, I found a long hair in my ice cream. When I let them know they didn’t apologize for it and they seemed to be upset about remaking it for me. They handed me a messy cup with my ice cream melting over the sides. I decided to give them a second chance and I was disappointed again. They do not greet you when you walk in. They are too busy talking to each other to acknowledge that you’re ready to order and pay. I asked for one of their creations and nowhere in it does it say it contains blueberries. I am allergic to blueberries so that was a huge inconvenience. When I asked for it to be remade, the girl did not apologize for adding them in and wasn’t happy about remaking it. Someone else remade it for me while she walked away. When I asked for a lid I waited there for a couple of minutes and I had to ask again because I was ignored. We were the only ones in line at the time with 5 people working. These employees lack customer service and cleanliness. I watched the girls touch their face and hair multiple times. I'd like to get straight to the point and talk about the main attraction of this place, the iced cream. Have come to Cold Stone Creamery many times, and not once have they disappointed me. On my last trip here I chose to go with a coffee flavoured milkshake with Oreo's as a mix in. The texture of the shake was near-perfect! Nice and thick with a delectable creaminess, though no large chunks of oreo inside of the shake.

The ice cream I have gotten there has been top quality as well and to me has only been rivaled by some gelato places I have been to. The selection is quite large, and there are many many more combinations of ingredients to mix into your choice a frozen cream delivery system, be it cone, cup, or cake!

I would say that the one and only complaint I would have about this spot is how busy it was when I got there! If you plan on going, be sure to have ample time to wait in the line, as it was literally out the door.

I had tried this place out on 9/5/16 around 6:30-7 PM. I took my 3 nieces and nephew (all under 5) with me so I had 3 very excited and impatient kids. This was the very first time any of us have been there. As soon as we walked in, the two workers, a girl with braces and a guy with medium length blonde hair, both gave us dirty looks. There wasn't even a "hello" or "welcome". The girl was very impatient and kept rushing us. I told her we've never been there before and I had a few questions, she didn't seem to care. While I was paying, a (white) family came in and the two workers quickly greeted and helped them. We felt rushed so we quickly took our ice cream and went to sit outside to eat.
