This place has amazing all you can eat (AYCE) sushi being landlocked in Fresno. Even though at the time we went, it was considered a soft opening this place was packed. Went on a Saturday as soon as it opened for dinner at 430. Took an hour to get there coming from Visalia, but this place did not disappoint the drive to get there. Sushi was fresh and delicious the sashimi was excellent as a side note you need to tell the server how many slices you want. Got the eel fried rice and it came on a small plate, so if you want enough for the entire table, definitely order per person. If you're into eel, that friend rice is amazing. I don't recommend the sushi pizza was worth a try but not something the table was not into. The rolls had plenty of pieces to share with the table. The chicken wings and tempura shrimp and vegetables were excellent. If you don't have sushi eaters in your group, definitely have beef and chicken options for those people. The steak we ordered was small cut-up pieces but very tasty, so once again, order that person. The short ribs were damn tasty reminded me of something from a Korean BBQ place, so I highly recommend ordering those. Ordered hot tea, and each cup had an individual tea bag, and we were given a cup of hot water to refill them. The dessert was ice cups that reminded me of my childhood with a wooden spoon and all. The flavors came in chocolate vanilla strawberry and rainbow sherbet. The strawberry was very creamy and delicious. The rainbow sherbet was creamy as well without being overly tart. Awesome about this was that the ice cream was also part of the AYCE, so you could get as many cups as you wanted. There is a 15 dollar charge for excessive leftover food since they don't do boxes for leftovers, so make sure not to over order, we didn't have that issue. One thing I did notice is that they didn't have any orders to go or online orders it was strictly AYCE so just be aware of that and enjoy the food while you're there cause you can't take it with you. The music playing was 2000s hip hop and RnB and had a few...
Read moreWe were sat near the kitchen and while it definitely gives new restaurant vibes the interior was beautiful and the music playing playing was very nice and atmospheric. The beef and chicken teriyaki Don bowls we ordered we very good, smaller portions but that makes sense for an all you can eat. The red onion was a bit strong though if I had to have a complaint. The cheese wonton were next and the sauce was amazing and the wonton itself was great! Now for the sushi, the spicy tuna and the butterfly roll were great. It's a really good spicy tuna. The sexy girl roll was a slightly elevated spicy tuna with the crab but it was still pretty good and the crazy roll was the absolute favorite of the night. We then ended our meal with a vegetable udon and vegetable ramen and some edamame. Now the ramen was amazing. That broth was by far one of the best I've had in awhile. The udon was also great and the broth was wonderful as well with a sweet aftertaste. And the edamame was a really good Salted edamame.
Now for the thing that may cause an issue for other is that the server had to explain to us that there is a limit to the sushi and sashimi each person can order per round however it's not mentioned on the menu. It should be on the menu so there is no confusion for the diner. And the table next to us was complaining about not having large enough cups for hot water. Hot water in the stainless steel cups they provide is a recipe for disaster and the cups they had were basically condiment cups. So far that's really the only things I would change. That and they should bottle the dipping sauce they serve with the cheese wonton because I want to put it on everything. I'll be back in a few months to see how time improves the restaurant because I believe this place has the ability to be a 5 star restaurant.
Also Joshua was fantastic as a waiter and very attentive and he did a good job explaining the menu to us. Very appreciative!...

Atmosphere: Beautifully done. Having plenty of booths, some TVs around (not on when we arrived, maybe when more people arrive), and decent space makes for a comfortable dining area. Love the ceiling floral decorations.
Getting there on Tuesday at around 11am, seating for two was quick. Our server explained how the menu worked and worked their best to accommodate us as quick as possible. There was no ice for the drinks at first, but as soon as it was ready, they were quick to bring cold drinks out.
There should be an efficient way to allow servers to know when customers are ready for another round of food or drinks, however. Having few servers to serve many people at once looks tiring for them. Maybe a flag or coin for tables with less than 5 members to show their ready?
Food wise for lunch, it was decent. Mostly fried foods and appetizers came out quick, along with one piece sushi rolls. (Cheese wontons were DELICIOUS) A single roll could take quite a bit of time however, and being allowed approximately 5 sushi pieces per person each round made it very time consuming (which took affect on some of your servers as well). An explanation of how the sushi can be ordered should be at the front of the menu to save people time.
Overall, it didn't really feel like an "all-you-can-eat". Honestly it probably would be better off as a buffet serving Japanese food and charging for waste left on plates. The time it takes for another round of food to be made or seeing your server again takes a while, which would make you full fasterand not getting your money's worth.
Edit: Updated to 5* after going during dinner time on Friday. While there was a wait, everything was all in order. Food came out fast, service was quick...
