Deli Delicious #18 - Ashlan & Blythe — Restaurant in Fresno

At the Deli delicious 4441 W Ashlan Ave #102 Fresno Ca 93722 location on 07/18/2020 around 2p.m, Manager Darla was in the back with an infant talking to her employees about work and if they needed anything else while not wearing a mask(Despite COVID and statewide mandate and laws in place) where the food is being prepped. She kept talking and pacing back and forth with the infant in her arms while there was sandwiches open on the prepping table exposed to any possible droplets that could have came out of her mouth. I asked the employees for my money back and requested her name. I informed how it was unprofessional of management to be without a mask in a place where the food is being prepared and that as a manager she is showing poor leadership by not leading by example. Also another note is that the same people who handle the cash register is the same people who prepare the food and there was no change in gloves as to from what I had seen. As a member of the community and someone that comes here frequently, I wanted to point these things out in hopes it could be fixed because if it’s seen again, it will be reported to the California Department of Public Health. There was witnesses and their numbers have been documented as well. Thank you.

There are multiple reasons why I gave only one star, which should be 0 stars, to this place. The first one would be the fact that they hired me and fired me the next day through text message, totally unprofessional, and I have yet to receive my paycheck for my one day of work which was about 2 months ago. The manager seemed to have no clue on how to hire and train a new employee. She showed me around the store then had me shadow everyone. Honestly it was a very uncomfortable and disappointing experience as well as a huge waste of my time. The second reason is that I ordered the Philly cheesecake sandwich, which I was told I'd get an employee discount on, and the meat was hard and dry and had no flavor. It was very disappointing especially since I didn't get a discount so it cost almost $9. This particular Deli Delicious is awful and I will never go back to it. Customer service- horrible Food quality- horrible Pricing- ridiculous Speed of service- awful Cleanliness...

So I see all these comments talking about how bad deli delicious is. If you know about deli delicious then you obviously know that they do run out of chicken that is the most popular. And the tri tip and Philly cheesesteak do not taste dry, it is not burnt so all of you that are just making comments just to do it isn’t right because I bet you all still go there n order. Also they do have great customer service it isn’t right that you guys are rude to them because they don’t have certain stuff that is because there delivery people don’t deliver everything they need it isn’t the employees fault and that what none of you rude customers understand and they can only make so much a day. For those of you saying they never have fries or they never have ice they have fries and ice the ice machine won’t work sometimes because so many people order sodas.
