I called in and asked to talk to the manager. The man who answered the phone then said, "Do you have a complaint", and I said, "No". I went on to explain that a woman where I live is turning 100 years old and that Kopi, from channel 26 Great Day was coming to help celebrate her big day at the senior complex. I told him, one of her favorite things is a banana split. He turned to another worker, while on the phone to me and said, "She's trying to get a free banana split". He told me that he wasn't allowed to give the managers name and that I would have to call back in the morning and hung up on me. I called back and after 8 rings I got the sound of a fax machine. I called again and got the same man, and explained to him that I was going to be contacting the manager in the morning and making sure that she knew how bad of a employee he was, that not getting information, not telling me the managers name and hanging up on me was not good customer service. He hung up on me again.
Just to let you all know, that this is specifically for this location only. I called the Cedar and Shields location and the young lady who answered was very excited about the opportunity to feature a local business helping to celebrate a 100th birthday on Great Day. She gave me the names of both of the morning managers. I told her, even if the manager isn't interested, I'm planning on purchasing the banana split to give to the birthday girl, and that I won't be purchasing it from the Ashlan & 99 location because of the out and out rudeness of the employee I spoke with. I read through the reviews and realized that this occurs all the time at this location. I used to go through the drive through at Ashlan & 99, you can be sure I won't be, not with so many other locations in town who have so much better customer service!.. So what was going to be an opportunity for this business, has turned into a bad review. The corporate office should really know how bad this location's...
Read moreI honestly never do reviews but this one just had to be posted. Our office ordered yesterday and our order included two large fries, one of the orders was fine but the second order was MAYBE three-quarters full. Coworkers said I should call and complain, but I was back from lunch and did not want to go back. Today my coworker ordered a large fry and had her hubby pick up and it was the same thing, barely almost three-quarters full and topped with the ketchup packets the rest of the way. My coworker called to let them know and they told her that yes it was filled up and maybe her husband ate some. REALLY? So I called them back and asked for a supervisor and let them know what happened yesterday and then what happened today and what the person told her on the phone. I told them that I heard my coworker say "they did it again" and saw her pull the half order of fries out with the ketchup on top. Then the "supervisor" tells me that the person my friend spoke with was the manager and that they know my friend didn't even get ketchup and they know the fries were full. I did interrupt her at this point out of shock and told them that I saw with my own eyes that it was not full and the ketchup packets were sitting on top and asked if they are saying that I am lying to them?? Even though they did the exact same thing yesterday and we didn't complain? She asked me "well are you done talking now". I then told her that I was just appalled at their customer service and that yes I was done talking, she then proceeded to tell me that we can bring the bag in with the fries and they will replace it but that after that they will refuse our service! So to summarize: in their opinion, customer is wrong, customer is lying and because customer had the nerve to complain they will not be served after that. Great management at this branch,...
Read moreWorst service I have ever experienced at this Fosters! My family and I go here about twice a week. It wasn’t busy. The girl working the drive thru needs to learn better customer service skills! Not one time did she look or acknowledge me during the whole process of paying and getting our shakes! Why you’re wondering? She and two other male employees were too busy talking at her register! After she took my payment, all three employees continued to talk at the register, not making the shakes! After about two minutes, one male went to the machine and started our order! The other two continued to chat! One of them could had gone over to help (quicker service)! After shakes were done, she handed them through the window while STILL talking to the other guy! Window gets closed! No “have a nice night, or thank you for stopping by! NOTHING! Is your employee worth $15.00 an hour? I don’t think so. For the record… I’m a a...
