Sake Japanese Cuisine — Restaurant in Fresno

If I can give them 0 stars, I would. I called them to place a to go order as I normally do but they weren’t answering. I decided to start driving to the restaurant and call them on the way in hopes of my order being ready by the time I get there. I figured their phone wasn’t working as this has happened before. My first call was at 5:14pm and last call at 5:51 pm, but I called constantly during my 45 minute drive. I get to the restaurant and yes they are busier then normal (Valentine’s Day), but still have tables available. I wait in line for 15 minutes as other people are paying and picking up their orders. It’s finally my turn and they tell me they aren’t taking any orders to go, dine in only. I ask how long the wait is for a table because I figured I’ll sit down and order my food then ask for a to go container since my family is waiting for me at home. They said 30 minutes, even though I see a couple tables are empty. I explained that I have been calling for 45 minutes and their IG or FB page had no information posted about no phone in orders, only that they had some special for Valentines. They refused to take my order even though I just watched 4 people in front of me pick up their orders. No one was behind me, I was the last person in line, yet they refused to take my order after I explained that I had been calling as I was driving there. I will never go here again. I have been going and calling in orders at this restaurant so many times since they have been open but they couldn’t take my order for 2 rolls today. Two friends & I had dinner here tonight. The waitress came over & gave us our check..while we were still eating. One friend ordered a cocktail (since we weren't done ordering & not ready to leave yet), the waitress brings back the cocktail..& the new bill. I wanted a cocktail too, but didn't even bother ordering one at that point, since they were obviously trying to rush us out. I got a refill on my water & there was a twist tie in it! Gross. Our fourth friend showed up & ordered his food & once again, they brought the bill right away! We wanted to order other items & they didn't even give us a chance to do so!! We felt so unappreciated there & so rushed to leave & I don't understand why. They weren't busy at all & there wasn't anyone waiting for the table! We would have spent more money & left a higher tip. I don't understand what's so hard about ordering a small bowl of fried rice. Keep in mind I have ordered that way before and never had an issue. The lady asks, "what kind of fried rice?" "Just a small bowl of regular fried rice." She continues to say we have chicken, bacon, shrimp, veggie. I finally say veggie is fine. She gave me my total. Wasn't very friendly over the phone and hung up before I could finish saying thank you. If I wanted chicken I would have ordered chicken fried rice or shrimp fried rice ect. I get there to pick up my order nothing different, but they leave a menu with the rice dishes circled. I don't find that necessary at all. And mind you veggie fried rice is not listed.
