La Pizza Nostra — Restaurant in Clovis

So I'm in town for work and walked 15 minutes to get a bite to eat. I ordered salad and two personal pizzas. The woman working today convinced me to get the cookies and the cheesecake as well. All homemade! Everything was delicious and fresh and even bringing home most of the food for work tomorrow and Saturday I still ate too much! But the best thing was I was getting ready to walk back to the hotel and the woman working (I won't give her name, but she knows) told me to wait a few minutes and she would drive me back to the hotel because she wanted me to be safe! She absolutely did not have to offer or do that, but she did! Not only was the food and service amazing, this woman went out of her way to make sure I got back to my hotel. Amazing! I came here for lunch the other day with my wife. We ordered a half and half combo and vegetarian. The best pizza I’ve had in years! They use that fresh classic style crust that you would get from an old school pizza place. It was a perfect combo of crispy and soft. The sauce was nice. Not highly acidic and natural tasting. The meats were good flavored, not like some of the cheaper stuff used by big companies. The veggies were fresh. I couldn’t believe that there wasn’t a line out the door. Seems like an alright place, but I can't say the food was all that great. I got the meat lover's calzone and when I sliced it in the middle and bit into it I found it was cold (although the outside was toasty)! Told the man who was there that evening and asked him if he could stick it back in the oven. He immediately apologized and did so. He brought it back and it was now hot inside (maybe a fluke, or the sensor in their oven just needs calibration). However, even then I felt the meats were not exactly good quality.
