Mika's Japanese Restaurant — Restaurant in Fresno

I entered Mika's and was the second person in line, I over heard the guy in front of me order a #9 so I decided to order the same, plus a 8 piece sushi roll, when it was my turn I looked behind me and it was a line of 5 people.. So I finished my order and sat down waiting patiently.. The guy that ordered the #9 was asked if he wanted a choice of either cucumber salad or regular salad and he made his choice.. Every person that was behind me and in front received their food and left, i was still waiting on my food patiently.. I asked the cashier what was what was I waiting on, and she said the roll, and she pointed at the girl in the back saying she was making it, the girl in the back stopped what she was doing and did something else, so I asked for a refund on the roll, and the girl in the back said , " I'm making it now" at that point I had been there atleast 20plus minutes after the whole line left with their food... So finally I received my refund for the roll and my #9 but I wasn't offered my choice of salad like the guy before me, so I asked if I was going to have the same option as the guy who ordered his #9 she said yes, I said you never offered it to me but you gave me my food as if you weren't going to offer... The service is based upon if you're a regular or if they like you.. They don't know me so I received terrible service.. I won't be returning any time soon, if you don't like your job you should get one that you enjoy, don't let paying customers receive your bad attitude for wanting...

Bad customer service. Girl was rude on the phone when I called and placed my order and confirmed when I went there to pick it up. She looked at me and I had to tell her pick up, the only words she spoke was "name" and the money total. Couldn't even look at me when giving me my change looking at her phone and as soon as the money went in my hand she picked it up, LOL. Didn't say thank you, nothing. Ridiculous. Food is ok at least. Used to be a little better (like bomb at times), now it's in the middle. Not...

1st time i've been here, really upset:( I ordered the grilled chicken bowl and shrimp tempura. It was litterally boiled shredded chicken over white rice. Not grilled, no flavor and some watered down terriyaki sauce on the side in a little cup.

I've made my own version at home and comes out 100 times better.

1 star cause the shrimp tempura was good.

If you want good japanese go to Gizna on 1st and Bullard. Next time i'll take the drive, it was just too far, but well...
