Have been here a handful of times, this time we went out for an early bday celebration for my cousin. Her daughters planned and reserved our table, we took up both sides of the Teppanyaki table....their were 16 of us. Our side of the table was very badly served, our cook/chef had zero interaction with us he barely acknowledged that we were there... our waitress served us well, during our meal... but fell through by the end of our meal, we had all requested dinner meals, that included ice cream with dinner...we also asked if they would sing happy bday, since we had seen that they did that, to a couple of tables when we walked in.... at the end of our meal...our half of the table, (7 of us) did not recieve our ice cream...we sat there for a good 15 min waiting for our ice cream, while the other half enjoyed there's, as they had a diffrent server, and we also waited for them to come sing happy bday... no one ever came. I told the manager, he shrugged me off, and the girls up front tried to make good by giving us a container with three scoops of ice cream. Which we thanked them for, but they totally missed the point and dropped the ball big time! This place is NOT cheap, we paid a total of $525 ... I would expect they be more attentive to their customers at those prices. 1 star because, The food is good, but there are many other similar restaurants like this, with better service, and for the price I prefer to go to a different restaurant, where I know, that I will be served well.... it's a shame too, because the ginger steak was very good, so was the bacon fried rice. IDK if we will be returning, or if I would recommend this place to friends or family. If you do go, DO NOT order extra vegetables with your meals, as you will be charged for the extra vegetables, but you will recieve the sane amount, as everyone else.

*2024 Update. Sadly, this place has just gone downhill. They have no standards in place anymore. Shrimp were not cleaned properly (visible poop thread, left in place in multiple shrimp, yes look at pics lol), scallops were raw, chicken was dry and tough, fliets were chewy. Chef was 100% drunk or on something and not in a fun way. Almost fell forward when serving food to table, dropped hot dripping on Son's hand while attempting to place food on well positioned plate. Was throwing things around his little station from the beginning of service... didn't talk to anyone at all, except at the end when he randomly started stating various rap artists' names and then stared at us, as if we understood the convo he was having alone in his head. It was weird, and now we are DONE with Edo-ya. Say NO to dirty shrimp! It's always a great family experience, but it's definitely not as good as it was a few years ago... they put Bacon in the fried rice, so we keep coming back 🙂

This place was fun, the chefs are performers and make sure you laugh. I am vegan and was so grateful they could accommodate my diet. The soup does have beef broth, so be sure to opt for the Salad if vegan. I ordered steamed rice, sautéed veggies and tofu. They were sure to cook my veggies and tofu first so they weren't contaminated with the meat and egg from the other food. They gave me a very generous amount t of veggies and the tofu was cooked really nicely and both the veggies and tofu were flavored well. The meal came with ice cream, it's not vegan so I gave it to my family. I think for the salad, entree and dessert it was around $22, not bad for a show and good food. I think the restaurant itself could use an upgrade on decor, but it's a nice place. They have a bar and saki, you can also get a table that isn't tepenyaki and order sushi and other dishes.

Great food, great atmosphere. The only reason they do not get 5 stars is horrible customer service at the hostess station and sushi bar.

Me and one guest go to the sushi bar. My friend tells the chef what he wants for a sushi roll. They tell him they can't make any sushi rolls that are not on the menu. This is not a joke. He's been going to them for many years, always ordering a custom roll. Imagine going to any bar and being told no we will not serve you what you want. It's outrageous and ridiculous.

Even better, I ordered my roll. I ask if they can do an Alaskan roll but make it spicy. Same chef said yes and added spicy mayonnaise and jalapenos to the roll. Yes he made a custom roll for me yet he told my friend no. He clearly was discriminating against my friend from the start.

My friend ends up ordering one sashimi and I share my food so we can eat and get out of there feeling bad for him. We do separate checks. They bring his check and the server says the chef undercharged him because price changes. We get to the hostess station and I stand and wait for long enough for me to look at the time, turn around and look at my friend before saying Hello Miss as her face is buried in her phone unaware I'm standing 2 feet from her. She goes to render change and notices her drawer is short, sighs, rolls her eyes, walks away momentarily, comes back, gives me change. I don't know if she said anything after giving me the change because I was one foot out the door at that point. She then overcharged my friend what was on his ticket after the server said she undercharged him and it was ok but next time this is the new price. Disgusting.

I'll never go inside ever again. The food and atmosphere is why they don't get a 1 star. With the recent changes in culture there it won't be long until the food and...

This place was a horrible. I give it a one star because I cannot give it a negative 10 stars. Our experience: we came in, was IMMEDIATELY told to place our order (it was our first time there, ever). We were asked by our waitress why our party was not complete, and even after we told her that one of our family member is disabled (so he was still coming from the parking lot), she told us to just order for him (but we haven't even had the chance to look at the menu). Of course, she didn't explain anything to us either. Chef came, did his thing, and he left. As soon as the chef finished (we were still eating our FULL plates), the waitress came and started handing us to-go boxes. And to make matters worse, the bus boy came right after and placed a stack of clean dishes to start setting up our table as though we were done. The party that was literally sitting right next to us came BEFORE us and they sure as hell did not get the same treatment. After 30 seconds, the waitress came out with our ice cream that turned to goop by the time we finished our plate. We felt that the waitress had absolutely no respect for us and we noticed that only our table was being treated with such rude manners. We notified the manager and he said he would speak to the waitress but seriously, why hire such a rude person who is basically the face of your business? Oh and forewarning, they charge for ALL sauces (they didn't notify us that) and for some reason they charged us for the steamed rice that was supposed to come with our meal. We just gave up and hurried up to pay just to leave. Terrible, disrespectful. Overall, don't waste your time...
