New City Chinese Cuisine Dim Sum — Restaurant in Fresno

I wouldve gave this restaurant no stars if I had the option. So my husband, child and I went to this restaurant. We ordered food and once they came out with the first plate we noticed it had mushrooms. I'm extremely allergic to mushrooms, and we apologized to the waitresses that we didn't know that the plates contained mushrooms, so we asked her if she can please make sure that our other plates don't contain any and letting her know that I had an allergy. So they brought out the plates and we ate, my mouth started to feel numb and tingling which was off. I wasn't feeling good so we decided to pack up the rest of the food to take home and while I'm putting the food into the box I find a mushroom!! And we told them about it and they just ignored us and one of the girls told us that they only put white mushroom in it because they took out the brown mushroom!!! Like are you freakin kidding me I'm alergic to mushrooms period! They made us pay for our full meal, they only took like 4$ off, we couldn't talk to the manager because he wasn't there. So now I'm in the hospital because I got an allergic reaction. I'm so upset because these people didn't seem to care by giving me contaminated food and picking out the mushrooms and giving us the same plate after we told them that I was alergic. I don't recommend this to anyone that has any allergies because apperenlty these people don't know how serious they can be and do something...

Ordered this place SPECIFICALLY for the STICKY RICE in the LEAF as seen ON THEIR MENU. I even CALLED the place right before placing order on DoorDash to MAKE SURE they had the STICKY RICE in LEAF. Told them my name as well so they knew exactly what order needed the sticky rice. I also ordered the SPICY orange chicken. I received NOTHING that I wanted. They put regular non-sticky STALE PLAIN WHITE RICE (no leaf) in both plates. Again, I called to MAKE SURE they had STICKY RICE IN LEAF! The lady was adamant that they would PUT STICKY RICE IN LEAF in my plates!! She had my name as well so she knew what order was mine. Again, this was THE ONLY REASON I ordered from this place to begin with! I wanted the STICKY RICE in LEAF, AS SEEN ON THEIR MENU. The "Spicy" Orange Chicken that they let you decide between mild, medium, or spicy.... HAD ZERO SPICE!!!! I ordered the hottest "SPICY"!!! Paid nearly $40 for 2 plates to be completely disappointed. Food is barely mediocre at best! Sooo many better Chinese food places out there. NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!!! Everything tastes like it's been sitting there for hours before being packaged up. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE unless you want to pay for over priced bland food from people that can't follow basic instructions, even when you double check calling prior to making your order to make sure they will put the item you...

We came here for the mid-autumn dinner. They have less than 20% of seats filled. Yet nobody has come to out table after a few waves that we are ready for order. The gentleman finally came, and I asked about the Thai style chicken feet only showing on the main menu. He said just write it down for the order menu, and then he left without continuing help us finish the ordering. A few minutes later, a lady finally came, and just wanted to take out the order menu away, I informed her that I put the Thai chicken on the menu, she goes, NO, don’t have that. Very rude. No explaining at all. I tell her the gentleman asked me to put it there, she then said then he is new. I move on the steam fish, she then said NO, don’t have it still with a very cold and impatient tone. The conversation went very akward. To beak the ice, I said we have always been here, and we always order that. She said we changed owner. What kind of service is that?! Beside that, the food tasted so different and it’s salty and not fresh. This will be our last time to this restaurant. So...
