This is for reference for my time stamp for what happened. My order was Friday evening 8/29/25 around 6PM. My call to supposedly a manager regarding the experience with my food was the following day, Saturday 8/30/25 around 2:10-2:12ish PM.please check cameras so you know what manager was talking to since She was argumentative and didn’t give out her name. She needs to held accountable. I would do negative stars if I could. I ordered an eight piece chicken wing, boneless meal supposedly buffalo style spice for my son and also ordered an eight piece “spicy” chicken meal For the rest of the family. I was in a rush everybody was hungry so when we got home and opened everything up, I noticed First that my sons order was completely wrong. It was just regular original chicken. Secondly I opened up the eight piece chicken meal and same thing. Regular original chicken nothing was right not even the sides. But family was hungry so they ate what they got and I just got done working at 10 hour a day. So the next day I called to speak to the so-called manager and write off the bat, she had a very negative attitude asking for proof for one day old food, which is already ridiculous and so I explained what was going on, and she was completely out of hand she was very rude And did not help at all. I offered my receipt and just asked for a refund or just a redone meal and she just went off and on saying I should’ve checked the bag and so on and so on, I’m not a Popeye employee if I would’ve checked the bag, I would expect to get paid for it Just like they would do. I believe you work there you should make sure the food is correct. Long story short that manager at that time at this location was very unprofessional and argumentative and loud. Before we hung up, I gave her one last opportunity to fix the mistake, She told me never to come back again “ even though this restaurant messed up...
Read moreFirst off let me say i love Popeyes! I was at the drive thru yesterday around 6pm. When i got in line there was 2 cars ahead of me. 20 minutes later the car in front of me got tired of waiting and left, 15 minutes after that the first car was able to order. I finally get up to order first thing said" we dont have sandwiches, mild and something else. Was wanting a family meal was told we can't do that no sandwiches, asked if they could sub sandwiches for tenders " the manger said no". So ordered something else, got up to the window to pay and was told cook called off we have no cook. It seemed like the guy at the window was having a bad day. Get the food opened and was completely disappointed, chicken wasnt crispy, meat was dry and the biscuits were hard all like been under heat lamps all day. Now this isnt the only location i ve been to in the last month, it seems they all are having the same issues ( again I love Popeyes was hoping to find 1 location here in town that wasnt a train wreck, the only one i might go back to is on McKinley?) Long wait times subpar food after waiting 30+ minutes. And the worst one in my humble opinion is the one on peach ave( went inside seen 3 plus employees made eye contact with all 3 no one said hi or even acknowledged our existence after feeling like a ghost we left) My suggestion is to call first before attempting to get food here to save your time and money unless you like dry old fried chicken, with...

Food: Service was a bit slow, but steady. The cashier tried his best to ring up everybody. I came in around 1030am and there was already a line of about 8 people. It took about an hour before we actually got our food. I noticed that they had premade about 15-20 chicken sandwiches and kept them in warmers. By the time we sat down and started eating, the chicken bun was beginning to show signs of sogginess. I got the spicy chicken sandwich and even though it was a little soggy, it was still very delicious. I liked that they used real chicken breast, unlike many other competitors who use grinded up chicken parts. I was also pleasantly surprised at the price. $3.99 for the sandwich. At this price point, it beats out Wendys, McDonalds and Jack in the Box.
Overall: Is this chicken sandwich the king of all chicken sandwiches? Yes and No. For a fast food restaurant, it certainly ranks among the best chicken sandwiches i have ever had. However, I still think that the chicken sandwich from Chicken Shack is the reigning king. Would I come back again? Most definitely. For the value and quality, this might be my new favorite place for my chicken...
