Noodle Express — Restaurant in Fresno

I recently ordered from Noodle Express through DoorDash after a long and stressful night of wedding planning. I was looking forward to my favorite comfort food to unwind. While I appreciate the convenience of delivery, it is very expensive to do so. After having a few bites I noticed the restaurant sent the wrong order. When I called, they offered to replace it, but I had to return the incorrect food, even though the mistake wasn’t mine.

It felt unnecessary since I had already taken a few bites and knew the food would just go to waste. I understand asking for food back if there’s suspicion of misuse, but in this case, it felt a bit unfair, especially because I had to go to the restaurant to return the food. I'm so sad to leave a 2 star review. I love the food here. But it is Saturday night at 8:31 pm, they close at 9:00 pm. I live less than 1 mile away and I just tried to call in an order for 2 meals to pick up. I was told I'm too late, because the kitchen is closing early, and they stopped accepting orders at 8:30... 1 minute ago... the first weekend after the pandemic restrictions are lifted? You would think this would be the time to try to bring in more business and be excited that locals want to spend their money with you. I love noodle Express I always order on door dash. Ming and her family are amazing. But the last two times I've ordered food from there the sever is so rude. I asked for extra limes and no basil or jalapenos for my pho. When it got delivered there was one lime and basil and jalapeno. She told me the cooks don't understand her when she told them extra. I specifically called and asked for extra lime over the phone. When I called back to ask about it she was so rude. I asked her why she didn't put the extra limes or check my order and she said she was the only one there and didn't have time.
