Peach Pit — Restaurant in Fresno

I called to ask about hiring at 12:10 on oct 1st . A very rude woman answered the phone, and I guess she didn’t hear me within the first two seconds so she mumbled a cuss word under her breath and hung up on me. So I called back and she answered again. I immediately ask her if they’re hiring, and all she says is,”No, we don’t do that” and hangs up before I can even reply. i’m not sure what that means or how a place that has employees doesn’t hire anyone, but maybe they should hire me because I would never answer a phone like that at a place I work. To the people who “run” this restaurant….I gave you the time and date…now it’s up to you to trim the fat and hire and new crew. No wonder no one ever talks about...

Both times I ate there, the food was good. Both times they put my food in a to go bag which probably is common. So I sit down to eat and ask for a plate or something so I could put my Ketchup and Mustard in to dip my food in. The second time I ate there, they didn’t want to give me but a paper that they use to wrap the food in. I told them it would make a mess on the table and if they could give me a paper plate like the first time. Both times they were annoyed. The second time they were frustrated that I asked for it and said that they remembered me from last time and that I was a troublemaker and to never come back Lol. They could use some lessons in Customer Service to better assist...

I have gone here multiple times as I live in the neighborhood, tower district. The female store owner is never friendly but I don’t expect much. Get my food and go.

Today I went and the female owner, an Asian woman, was telling some Mexican customers they needed to learn English cause they were having a hard time communicating. Myself and another customer, both Mexican, told the owner that was insensitive and comes off racist. She told us too bad that her people have to learn English so we need to as well. Sad to see such blatant prejudice against Hispanics in tower district, especially coming from another group...
