On Saturday 8th I called this place to make a reservation, which the lady over the phone told me that was $20 per person which would go towards the bill at the end, which seemed reasonable to me since I made the reservation for 5 people, when we finished drinking we asked for the check ($180) we paid half with a $ 100 bill and the rest with my credit card, at the moment I didn't remember about the $100 that I already paid in advance, I asked to the waitress and she told me that it would not go through because I had already paid in full at the bar. Monday morning I realized that they had charged me for the reservation $100, I immediately called the bar and told them about the double charge and they told me that their General manager would contact me which he did and tried to explain to me that they had paid a lot of money for the fight and that what I had paid was not a reservation fee but an entry fee, which seemed completely unprofessional to try to misinterpret his guilt. He told me that he would call me with a solution he never did, I called him back and the General Manager Greg's cell...
Read moreBackground: First review. My buddy and I went to this place earlier because it was suggested by our friend. No hostess, no menu (had to ask for it), food was meh/okay, drinks were okay. Service wasn't so good but we understand it happens. We are both easy going guys but this night we were mad. We HAD to leave a card on tab, which we were told "wouldn't be ran." My friend gave his card and so we ordered our drinks, food and what not. Our bill was well over 100 plus together. We had separate checks, my buddy got his card back, paid cash and I paid with card. The waitress came back saying that his card was inactivate and he had to have another form of payment. She lied to us saying it wouldn't be ran and he paid cash. She got caught red handed. We sat there finishing our beer ( I have yet to sign for my check) she comes up to me and keeps nagging me about signing my bill, rushing us because they were "closing." There were many other customers in there that weren't getting rushed. OVERALL TERRIBLE PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. BAD SERVICE...
Read moreA great sports bar in the NW Fresno area. To start with, Morganne the bartender was very attentive and sold me on a locally brewed Boysenberry seltzer with a smile and a small sample. She was nice enough to change a few TVs to a hockey game and the King's game for me. My calzone was awesome! Came out hot and fast and flavorful. (I made sure Andrew in the kitchen got an extra $5 for his hard work. Treat your cooks well!) Morganne was training Savannah on her second shift and she was awesome as well...even though she is still learning things. The crowd was a great mix of guys after work, to a mom and dad with their kid, to couples, to a couple of solo dudes like me. I travel with Fox Sports and and a few other networks. I see a lot of "sports bars". This is one of them...but a really good one. I will make sure I stop here again when in Fresno. My best experience in this area so far! Keep up...
