Don't go an hour and a half before closing, their service to the customer goes down on purpose so you have to leave. I made a reservation at 1:00pm for 6 people. We knew they closed to get ready for dinner at 2:30pm. We have all been there before and we knew to respect their hours. We had brought our own cake since we were saying goodbye to a fellow employee. By 1:45pm we were looking for our waitress we were ready to pay our checks and ask for the cake. We were the only ones in the restaurant. The waitress finally came by talking on her cell phone right at our table at 2:10pm. We asked her can you please bring out the cake for us. She came back with our checks 10 min later and she was like, are you going to cut the cake here, because we close in 10 min. We said, yes please bring out our cake. And She didn't, She came back and brought our checks. So we ended up leaving without being able to cut the cake. We realized they did all of that on purpose so we couldn't stay past 2:30. But if she had come out and checked on us at 1:45. We would have had the cake and been out of there by 2:15. Terrible...
Read moreive eaten here twice. a couple of months ago i ordered the lamb tikka masala to-go. it smelled delicious. i brought the food home and served the tikka masala over the beautiful white rice it came with. my mouth was watering, my eyes were glowing, my soul was quaking. this food smelled so good. i ripped off a piece if the garlic naan and scooped up a bite. it was the best bite ive ever had. a single tear dropped from my eye. this was single handedly the best bite of food i had ever had in my 16 years of life. as i chewed my soul ascended to heaven. i faced god. he spiritually gave me a hug. my soul gently descended back to earth, and into my body. i was blessed. i have never experienced anything like this. the flavorful tomatoey sauce. the subtle cream flavor. everything. i will do anything to come back here. i cannot wait another week for the owners to come back from india. this food is way too good. i would surrender my first born child to eat here. my second child, even. thank you, royal taj. thank you for all that you have...
Read moreI'm a huge fan of their lunch buffet. For under 10 bucks you get a great choice of Indian dishes - some of which are daily staples and others that they rotate on a regular basis. Included in the price of the buffet is your choice between garlic or plain nan (spelling?). (thin, crispy, hot out of the oven Indian Bread).
The service is consistently friendly and food consistently good. Ive ate at their buffet more times than I can count but Ive yet order off of their regular menu.
Oh yeah - desert is included in the buffet and there's usually two different dishes to choose from. Try them all, they seem to get better every time but maybe that's just me aquiring a taste for it.
Overall awesome place that I recommend to both Indian food lovers and those who have...
