Making online reservations waa easy 👍🏽. We stayed five nights, Thurs-Tues. The biscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs for breakfast was very good. Unfortunately, breakfast on the other days was not warm (pre-made omelets, bacon, sausage and tater tots/hash browns). Our room had a missing lamp shade for the overhead light (see photo), a water stained lampshade (see photo) and a shower stall that either needed additional cleaning or new caulking. Outside the room where breakfast was prepared the staff puts out food (and old cans of food) in the flowerbed for feral cats (see photo). I like cats, I’m just not sure attracting them to the area adjacent to the basketball court and hot-tub is a good plan. Our most significant frustration was obtaining a key card that worked for our room, the hot-tub gate and the restroom near the hot-tub. We gave up after the fourth key still didn’t work. Additionally, the signs all say the hot-tub and pool is open “9:00 AM - 10:00 PM” (see photo), but when we called the front desk Monday morning (March 6th) at 9:30 AM to ask about provided towels for the hot-tub, we were told the hot-tub did not open until 10:00 AM. When we left the hot-tub at 11:30 AM no towels had been brought out to the pool/hot-tub area. Signs around the pool and hot-tub confuse guests as to what time the pool closes (“after dark” or “10:00 PM”) (see photos). The hot-tub has two high volume jets that have plumbing issues, make A LOT of noise and spray water upward making it unpleasant to be near them (see photo). Our hallway had at least six lights with missing shades, making the brightness hard on the eyes (see photo). On Sunday it appeared a guest had placed a bag a trash in the stairwell landing for housekeeping to dispose of. It was there over 24 hours. The property is generally clean, and with more attention to keeping up on maintenance could be a very nice hotel. (I used to call or email hotel customer service representatives with concerns like this, but after being told “…someone will be in touch with you,” and that not happening, I’ve taken to detailed online reviews.). And, another thing: Do the maintenance people know that refrigerator doors are almost always REVERSIBLE? The refrigerator in room 224 opens the wrong way given the refrigerator is against the wall (see photo). Also, the trash/“feral cat food” remains in the hotel’s flowerbed near the pool for the forth day.

We stay at this hotel when visiting family in Fresno. Fresno is Fresno. It's not a glamorous place and you're not going to find luxery hotels. This is a clean, reliable, comfortable hotel with friendly staff, decent wi-fi, and a hearty breakfast. We've tried several hotels in the area and this one is the best around. Some suites are two room (living room with separate bedroom) and the bedroom has a separate TV, which is nice if you're traveling with kids. Breakfast is good for a free hotel breakfast. It's hot, has a waffle maker, and usually includes an egg option (scrambled or burritos), meat option (bacon or sausage), oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, pastry, and sometimes country potatoes. On my latest visit, I traveled alone for a funeral. I arrived super early, so I was able to get some work done using the lobby wi-fi before check-in. Staff checked me in early and upgraded me to a premium room, which was super nice and unexpected. Fun fact - premium rooms come with complimentary snacks (candy bars, cookies, sodas, perrier, juice), so yay. I didn't know I'd been upgraded until I got to the room, so that was a nice surprise for an otherwise gloomy trip (due to funeral, not hotel). Overall, good hotel. I've never had a bad experience here in 15 years. It's reliable, clean, and staff is super friendly. I would recommend.

For the brand name, this was not up to par. We had several issues during our stay. When we got to the room, we noticed there were spider webs that were not cleaned out from the room. We also couldn’t really use the utensils that were provided as they were old and had rust on them. We also saw a lot of rust and bubbles in the wall where the shower is located. We had a fire alarm go off at 430 in the morning our first night. The bed was not comfortable as I could feel the springs in my back. We also used the sofa bed. I know they are not meant to be completely comfortable, but that mattress was so flat, that you felt the metal bars of the bed frame. The last issue we had was that our key did not work when we got back to the room with our 1 year old asleep in the stroller. I had to go to the front desk multiple times for them to reissue keys for them to finally go and see that the lock was not working. We had to wait about an hour to get the lock fixed . They at least let us use another room while we waited for the lock to be fixed. We have stayed at other Homewood Suites before and have had great experiences. This one is one that you will want to skip.

Excellent Experience. I’m not sure if the property is new, or is being just recently remodeled, but everything seems fresh clean and smells great. The hallway smells of new carpet.||My one bedroom suite was well appointed, everything worked, the kitchen was well equipped. If I do have one piece of slight change feedback, it appears that there are newly deployed refrigerators, which are lovely, work well, and clean. The only problem is, is that they have not adjusted the swing of the door appropriately between the odd and even Number rooms. you have to kind of contort yourself in a pretzel in the corner in order to get the door to swing out, which then blocks the rest of the kitchen. I realize it takes 15 to 20 minutes to swap these, but the one time modification would surely increase guest comfort for years in the future.||Tree trimming is in process through September. It’s not just trim, but whole trees being taken down. I left in the morning with one of my windows looking out directly into the branches of a tree, and come home to blue sky. Not sure if they were diseased or something, but will miss the wooded nature of the courtyard. ||The breakfast cycled out daily, a combination of eggs, potatoes, various shredded meats, and Carnitas for burritos, a cold bar had yogurts, hard boiled, eggs, etc. the first two days, offered a Chia pudding, which I love secondary to It’s vegetarian nature, and packing protein. I was very disappointed when it was not available the next two days. I also did not see any plant-based milk readily available., But again overall, a fresh, well stocked, and plentiful availability of breakfast options. ||I understand they do an evening reception now on Wednesdays. We used to have these every night in a Homewood pre-Covid, but I’m glad to see that they are at least coming back to some small detail. I was not aware of it, so didn’t enjoy it this week, but will take a look next week during my upcoming stay.||While not specifically a reflection on the property itself, it’s kind of convoluted to actually get into the property. The address is on Fresno, but the property itself faces Herndon, but you can’t access the property from the main street. You kind of have to wind through some side streets, through a roundabout, then down another road, to access these two properties. It took me about 10 minutes following my GPS before I finally figured it out. I will say, if you are able to access the CVS parking lot, it’s easy to go out their back lot and reach the property until you get your bearings.||Again, overall Very happy with my stay here, and looking forward to being...

Front desk attendant was very nice and check in went smooth. I was excited to find a hotel with all the extras we were wanting. living area completely seperate from bedroom, full kitchen, and a jacuzzi. Once we entered, I was pretty impressed at the size of the bedroom and bathroom and so excited to show my kids the jucuzzi. (Which I hadn't told them about because it was going to be a surprise. They were so excited.

Shortly after a quick walk through, my son notices a few ants on the toilet, so I thoroughly checked around. There was about 4 or5 total. Some dead by the jucuzzi, others near toilet. I had to go check the bed. Pillow cases seemed to have been slept on but refluffed and pillow case tightened over the pillow. The bedding seems to be the same, the conforter which is between the fitted and flat sheet had a huge dry piece of greenish/yellow mucus at the corner stuck to it. No signs of bed bugs or roaches but definitely not clean.. my kids were pumped to get in the jucuzzi, but after spending a while rinsing it a few times and then filling it, we couldn't get it to stay on on its own. We would have had to stand there and continuously push the button over n over.. I called downstairs to advise of the jucuzzi, the dirty sheets, the few ants, and a phone in room not working.... she apologized and they sent maintenance who said jucuzzi doesn't work. An hour later I was trying to cook but the fan over the stove wasn't working. Maintenance came n said its working but the filter was just thick with build up, he said he'd go change it out, walked out and never returned. I changed bedding myself. And told the front office that if I decided to stay another night, I'd probably want a different room if the jucuzzi didn't work. She said sure of course and that she'd tell management about everything and management will apply a discount the following day. Following day comes and I get a phone call from front desk 40 minutes before checkout, telling me I couldn't extend because they were completely booked and I had til 12:30 to be out the room. I asked about the room discount and she said they can take off about $50 from my $189 for the issues in the room. And then she went on to advise me of what time they wanted us to vacate the room. So with 2 children a bunch of travel bags full of clothes, toothbrushs, shoes, toys, food, and more.....I was required to pack everything quick and reserve at another hotel. . Not worth what...
