I was not impressed and I rarely write negative reviews. This was our first time since the restaurant changed from BJ's. I want to start off by saying the staff was very nice and the restaurant it self looked very nice. The food was our issue. We put our order in and ask if we could get extra crispy potatoes, gravy, on the side for a country fried steak and a small plate for our 2 yr old grandson to share with us. When our food first came. The chicken fried steak had gravy on it, the waitress I apologized and took it back and had it remade. While that was being remade, my husband began to eat his food, which was the american breakfast. His bacon was cold, sausage links looked and tasted as if they were microwaved, very rubbery, even my grandson who loves sausage wouldn't eat it. The freach toast was really flat and was mostly bread, with a small layer of the eggy custard. My food came, the chicken fried steak was super greasy, to the point the breading fell off the bottom of it and sat in a pool of grease. My eggs, I am assuming were just put in another plate while they made the new chicken fried steak because they were cold to the touch. The potatoes also tasted greasy, but they were not fried (or crispy). Due to grease, my food was inedible, I ate about 1/8 of my plate. My husband it was not impressed of his feed, described itbas gross, although he did still eat about 1/2 of his. The manager came and talked to us, it was really loud and hard to hear, but she offered some type of discount, which ended up being 20%. Our bill was about $48 after the 20% discount for two breakfast plates, one kids chocolate milk...
Read moreDon't eat pork? They've got you covered with their Turkey Bacon or sausage! It's still a bit on the loud side but with good food and happy servers,it's worth it!
Looking for a new place to try and came across The Waffle Place. There were so many great reviews that we had to try it. I had one of their skillets. It was delicious!
My husband had the standard 2 eggs with (turkey) bacon, sausage, hash browns and pancakes. He loves salt but said that the hash browns were a bit on the salty side even for him. Everything else was very good but since he absolutely loves hash browns he was a bit disappointed. We did love that you offer many vegan and vegetarian options. Can't wait to get together for a family breakfast because we know where we will be going! (Took 1 star off because it was...
Read moreWoke up craving French toast, stopped at another local restaurant but their wait times were over 1hr for 2 people. Called here and their wait time was only around 20min. Showed up to put my name on waitlist and was told it would be about 30min (no problem) after being seated we waited about 10min before they brought us water and asked if we were ready to order. We ordered an ice coffee and my French toast . During the time our waitress was taking our order, a server was bringing food out for another table (same waitress) and the table was refusing saying it wasn’t their order. This distracted our waitress and she apologized and took our second meal(burrito) down. Our iced coffee came quick and was a good size drink (around 16-20oz) after another 15 minutes we got our burrito and our waitress asked if we needed an extra plate (to share) of course I said no as I was expecting my French toast to come soon after. Needless to say, the French toast never came. Very disappointed at the lack of attention paid by our waitress. When I paid for what we DID receive I told her my food never came, her response was I thought you didn’t order, even though I ordered first (before the...
