"Paying $23 for two rum and Cokes at Vibez Lounge is like buying a ticket to a magic show where the only disappearing act is your money."
Vibez Lounge, oh how you left me feeling more empty in my wallet than satisfied in my thirst. My recent visit to this establishment was an eye-opening experience, and not in the way I had hoped. With a hefty price tag of $23 for just two rum and Cokes, it's safe to say that the concept of reasonable pricing eluded this place entirely.
The exorbitant cost of the drinks alone was enough to make me question my life choices. For that price, one would expect a divine concoction crafted by the hands of mixology wizards. However, what I received was a lackluster blend of rum and Coke that did little to justify the dent in my bank account. The sticker shock left me reeling, and I couldn't help but wonder if I had unwittingly stumbled into a black hole where monetary logic ceased to exist.
To add insult to injury, the food offerings at Vibez Lounge failed to impress. The promise of a satisfying meal to complement my overpriced drinks quickly faded into a distant memory. The menu, filled with greasy and lackluster options, felt like a throwback to a time when culinary mediocrity reigned supreme. It's as if the kitchen was more concerned with quantity over quality, serving up plates that left my taste buds longing for something more memorable.
In light of these shortcomings, it's safe to say that I won't be returning to Vibez Lounge any time soon. The exorbitant prices for lackluster drinks and the greasy, forgettable food have convinced me that there are far better options available. I value my hard-earned money and expect to receive value in return, an expectation that Vibez Lounge failed to meet.
Vibez Lounge may have an appealing name, but its steep prices and underwhelming offerings have left me with a sour taste in my mouth. The experience served as a reminder that sometimes the best vibes are found elsewhere, where reasonable prices and quality food and drink offerings go...
Read moreStaples in my tamale!! This business is also a ghost kitchen, for Tower Mexican Grill on DoorDash, GrubHub,
Yesterday, I ordered a tamale. While eating it, I swallowed something tough, which I thought may be a piece of corn husk. In the next bite, I found a staple, which was spread out to its full length. The staple poked me in the roof of my mouth. This time I was able to remove it and see what it actually was. The other staple became lodged in my throat and was a very uncomfortable. I finally was able to find an open urgent care for x-rays. I was there until about midnight. While waiting in the exam I began to have hiccups and subsequently swallowed the staple.
I repeatedly called the published phone number for Vibes Restaurant and Lounge. However, after 10 rings, the message system answered asking for my code. Finally, on the 9th attempt, someone finally answered phone. I could hear loud music in the background and I asked to speak with the manager. The employee indicated the manager was not there. I told him about the incident and he seemed completely in indifferent. I asked him if he could get a hold of management for me. He said nope, you need to call back at 11:00am tomorrow. I asked to leave a message for the manager. He again stated, to call back after 11am tomorrow. I told him I was concerned that the other tamales may also be contaminated, and I did not want anyone else to become injured. Again, he did not sound concerned and said call back in the morning. DoorDash customer service was not helpful either. My gosh the whole incident was a fiasco... I don't think I've ever talked with such an incompetent group of people. I have all the transcripts, should anyone care to read them.
