When you come in they seat you and you pay when leaving. I noticed the last 3 times I came to dine they keep bring my bill 10 minutes after being seated while I am still eating. The waitress was also badgering me about tipping which is supposed to be optional. I was over charged for me and my children’s meal. I took my two children with me but was charged for 2 adults and one child even though I told them my children we 9 and 3. My bill was $53 and when I gave $70 to the waitress she asked did I want change. I said yes and returned to my table since I had to find her to even pay. I decided to pay before leaving because she kept coming to check if i put money or a card on the receipt she put on my table. Once she gave me my change she asked about a tip again this time asking how much was I going to give her which was insane. I looked at her and did not answer mainly because I was baffled she kept bringing up tipping her after having me pay in the beginning of my meal when they explain at the front that you pay when you’re ready to leave. Every couple minutes she stopped by my table mentioning the tip and the last time she came by she told me the tip was not included in my bill. At that point I responded and said yes then decided to leave because she was making me extremely uncomfortable. While walking out I asked about a different waitress that was nice to me the previous time I came in. This older English speaking woman started to question why I was asking about the other waitress so I briefly explained the issue with the current waitress. Her response was that it is customary for restaurants to include tips in the bill which has nothing to do with anything since they don’t include tips at this buffet nor does it excuse the waitress behavior. I have not seen them bringing the bill to any other tables while they are dining this only happens to me and I am starting to think it’s because I am black. Especially after the excuse I was given in regards to the waitress trying to force me to tip and pay right after being seated then constantly asking for a tip and how much was I going to give her. As shown in the receipt which was printed at 5:19 just a few minutes after being seated

We had originally went due to it being the "largest buffet" in Minnesota however when arriving it seemed pretty average sized in my opinion. Nonetheless we decided to stay since we knew that they were supposed to have crab legs. Unfortunately it wasn't quite what we had thought but they did have some salted crab legs that the others in my party did try but weren't too impressed by. I am personally a pretty picky eater and didn't find a whole lot that would settle with me later. The things I did eat were the pizza, salad, broccoli from another dish, white rice and slightly garlic mashed potatoes. It definitely had a very beautiful interior and seemed maintained. They do have their plates back to normal as some other reviews had stated they used to have Styrofoam. If you enjoy Chinese & Japanese type foods you should be alright here. When agreeing to go with my party I had assumed with it being the largest that there would have been a little more diversity in the foods and have something more I would have eaten. The foods my party did have they had rated as about average and nothing they would be dying to go back for anytime soon. The service was evenly paced and welcoming so definitely good in that aspect. There were very few bathroom stalls located here let that be a warning while trying new foods! Overall it didn't seem like the best place for us as we had put our expectations up a little too high with it being called the largest buffet. Food was average at best you could get most anyplace. For me personally and the people I know I wouldn't recommend it to them as I know there are many places available with these types of food for better, less and alot closer to home. TLDR: Average at best. Food common can find anywhere better and cheaper. Good service and atmosphere. Not kid recommend IMO. Didn't seem larger than average buffet. Good place to find sushi however if that's your thing.

We haven't been back here since before the pandemic started. I remember how hectic this place was back then; the last time we were here, we were in a line that stretched out the front door. Admittedly, I got sucked into the negative post-covid reviews of this place, and I became extremely worried that I made a mistake arranging a get-together here to celebrate a birthday. But we had a great time during our visit today. Our server, Wen, was extremely polite and attentive. He came by multiple times to clear plates and offer refills. We showed up an hour before the dinner rush, and found that despite the restaurant not being very busy at all, the food was still hot and fresh. I started with the black pepper chicken and some parts of it were a little too crunchy for my liking, but the serving dish was nearly empty by the time I got there. They had egg cups with bacon bits inside that were cooked well and really tasty, and we couldn't get enough of the plantains (fried bananas). They were excellent! They make it clear at the front counter that the hibachi grill and pho noodle station in the back are still closed "for the time being", but there seems to be no idea when - if at all - it will reopen. But for the quality of food we saw and ate, I definitely feel that we got our money's worth. They have a LOT more fried and American foods now than they did before, but there are still plenty of Asian dishes available. None of us got sick after eating here, and the chocolate fountain is open again! I'm beyond relieved that we had a positive experience here, even though others clearly didn't. I hope this place continues to make better changes and improvements, it would be nice to see this place as it once was.

Wish I had seen that the owners were criminals before I spent my money here. All that tax fraud and yall still can't afford real plates?

Can't wait for the "Im sorry for your bad experience, its for our saftey" response, as if that response isnt completely insane. Youre in the service industry. If people keep having bad experiences, its NOT because youre being safe. Its because your service is bad. And blaming it on safety just displays your negligence

This place used to be 5 stars but that seems so long ago compared to how it is now. That was before the overcooked fish, undercooked chicken, prepackaged ice cream, Styrofoam dishes, plastic cutlery, lack of proper service, etc etc

Most of my family got food poisoning after eating here. We will not return until they go back to how it was. Some of the chicken tasted metallic and like chemicals and some of it was pink on the inside. I couldn't get the fish apart with the plastic cutlery, it was so overcooked

Very little options for authentic or world foods. Its mostly lots of greasy american food that have gone bad from sitting under heat lamps in heating trays

There was a serious language barrier for some reason???? They couldn't figure out what milk was?????

They were super empty but they still put us in a booth that looked like edward scissorhands' personal pincushion, while most other booths didn't look anywhere near that bad (I'm pretty sure it was the worst booth in the surrounding 2 sections)

They gave us our bill after 2 plates of food and continuously kept hovering over our table after that. They were not busy. We felt pressured to leave. It was extremely uncomfortable

They got our drink orders wrong, gave us inedible food, served us on styrofoam, then still had the audacity to ask for a 15% tip on our bill. Screw that, y'all don't deserve anything because y'all aren't doing anything!! But we aren't monsters so you got a tip. Wasn't an insane 15% though. And $20-something PER PERSON for plastic forks and food poisoning? Y'all obviously don't want returning customers

Plus, ruining the planet with Styrofoam and plastic cutlery is not how you keep people safe. If you follow the law with food prep and sanitation, you would never need to use something like single-use cutlery and plates, so there's obviously a hidden (and likely bad) reason why you're using that stuff instead of real plates like people deserve

Looking at other reviews: people either have a similar experience to ours or they get "fresh food." Except I'm not sure when people are getting "fresh food" because we went during dinnertime and...

I've held out hope that this restaurant would return to its former greatness, however each visit dashes those hopes. I've given up completely at this point and we've decide that we will not be back nor will we suggest them to friends. I understood when the use of the disposables started and they closed down parts of the buffet. However the time has long passed for that to be a sanitary concern, and the rest of the world has gone back to sanity. Meanwhile this place is stuck using the same tired response for their decision to cut their own costs at the expense of quality and good service, while they continue to raise prices. The food quite frankly is awful now. Our last couple visits the food was rarely refilled timely, and the food sitting there has been cold or stale much of the time. They don't care if they offer quality meals anymore. They don't care if they offer good customer service. They are rude, and pushy.

As for the use of disposables, I continue seeing them comment on the reviews on here that they are doing it for the safety of their staff and customers. Don't let this place lie to you. I inquired on this a few months ago as for me its become a deal breaker. Their response was that it was more expensive and difficult to hire the staff. You can see their response below. I refuse to pay $20 a person to eat somewhere that feeds me from styrofoam goods that are destroying the planet. I refuse to waste my money here ever again.

To management: the reviews speak volumes. People are sick of seeing you create more waste. People are tired of sacrificing their hard earned dollar to eat at your restaurant when you have zero desire to treat them with respect and dignity. We won't eat off styrofoam anymore. Read the room- stop the fake replies about how sorry you are that we aren't happy with your service or that you are sad to hear our experience was poor. You don't care. You show it in how review after review floods in and expresses its displeasure with your practices and then you continue to serve your customers from trash. Do better. Until then, I will shout from the rooftops how terrible your...
