Stefano's — Restaurant in Friendswood

Honest feedback. Wont ever come back. Wouldn't ever recommend this place. Chicken parmigiano did not taste fresh and was burnt to a dark brown? Chicken to me tasted like a frozen store-bought tender. I could not taste the cheese on it. Asked if the lasagna was fresh, was told it was; did not taste fresh. Where was the layers? Where was the ricotta, the parmesean?? Sauce was watery and not meaty, and inside tasted frozen and store bought. I'm sorry - but that was the worst lasagna I've ever personally had - but I'm more disappointed bieng told it was freshly made. If it truly was freshly made, then it was just poorly executed. The pizza was average at best. The side bagguette was stale. The salad was the only thing that tasted was fresh - Thank God. Concerning the atmosphere, lets just say I did not know if the place was undergoing any remodeling. I remember telling myself when driving home that I hoped the food made up for the atmosphere, but no. I was very disappointed when I got home. None of the food looked like any of its pictures online.

I do not understand why the reviews for this place was 4.7. Ive read the comments, and am convinced they are paid bots or most of Friendswood has no idea what...

I gave Service a 2 because it is normally self-serve but because of my feet issue, the lady there DID come to our table to take our orders... thank you very much, M'am.

I gave Food a 1 star. My "wine, butter, cream" sauce tasted like someone had strained the noodles out of Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup and served it undiluted.. it was served over the piece of chicken on a bed of noodles. I was disappointed to say the least. My husband ordered the Chicken Alfredo. When I asked how it was, he said, "If you were starving and hadn't eaten in days it'd be considered alright. " (BTW, this man IS NOT a picky eater at all!).

Our friends thought their food was great, in fact, the majorly picky eater man said his cheese pizza was best he'd ever had! Go figure!

Atmosphere... a 1 star, but then we weren't there for atmosphere... no disappointment there!

1st time there and unfortunately probably won't go back, unless our friends just truly want to go there again; in which case, we'd try the pizza... but hoping they don't care to go back.

We really do try to support local small businesses, but sorry, not a fan...

Ordered Stefano’s for the first time for take out and we were so impressed! Everything was packaged perfectly in a box for easy carry when I arrived. The very clean might I add dining room was practically empty but the phone was ringing off the hook as I checked out which let me know I was in for a treat. I ordered my daddy the Stefano spaghetti which he absolutely loved. He said it had so much meat and wasn’t able to eat it all in one sitting. My mother got the lasagna and she said it was packed with flavor. I opted for the cheese ravioli with a rose sauce and added crawfish tails. My meal was full of crawfish and ravioli more than enough to share with anyone who wanted to taste. Our salads were fresh and I really liked the Italian dressing. We also each got a dessert…. German chocolate cake, Italian cream cake, and cheesecake. We will definitely be ordering Stefano’s...
