4-29-25: Yes, this used to be the old Dunn's Brothers location but unfortunately, they are no longer here: it was a good run and I truly did like their coffee. Now, we have a new kid to the block (at least in Friendswood). Yes their decor is less cozy than Dunn's but we have to not compare it to anything and view it as a fresh new start. There are plenty of seats for everyone and they kept the same order counter and pickup. It was my first time there and will probably cover back again. Like many have noticed, it is pricey but the quality is there to back it up. The ceramic cups and plates give it that upgraded feel, but more importantly, the quality of the drinks and pastries are excellent.

Pearland Coffee Roasters is located in the old Dunn Brothers Coffee building. The building has the same layout with booths and tables inside and a nice covered outdoor area. The fresh coat of white paint inside and out makes the space feel larger and more inviting. This is a great space for studying, business meeting, and social hangouts. The place has a reasonable noise level where you can study or have a conversation. Their breakfast and pastries look good. I’ll hold off on adding a food review at this time as I have only had one coffee and it was a good dark cold brew.

If you're an adult hoping for a proper-sized drink, think again—this place serves portions fit for a dollhouse. The cappuccino is supposedly 6oz and the tea 12oz, but in the photo, they look nearly identical. When we asked the server, she insisted the cappuccino was 6oz and the tea was 12oz. Give me a break. Overpriced, underwhelming, and completely unconvincing. I won’t be back. Extremely disappointed.

Gave the new place a try and the coffee is quite good. I had an Old Townsite, which has a very nice subtle honey flavor that wasn't overwhelming. The serving sizes are a little on the small side compared to what I'm used to, but I enjoyed it.

I very much missed the cozy welcoming atmosphere that Dunn had in this building. I used to work in there all day on my laptop and it was comfy and had charm. Everything is sterile/white now, very bright, and echoey due to the empty walls. No music playing which some will find as a plus, but I do not.

This won't be a place I go to hang out during the day and make repeated orders while I talk with my friends, or a place I go for a nice lunch, it will instead be a place where I use the drive through once in awhile.

I'm not able to rate the food, nothing was available during my visit, likely because it's a soft open.

None of the Dunn folks were rehired, which I was...

It was the worst experiance. I went to the drive through to get a quick bite and coffee. They had no tacos that ordered, only one croissant (obviously these aren’t made fresh on site) ok so I ordered the croissant and a coffee. It took forever. People behind me getting irritated, a lawn guy standing there was out his blower waiting for me to move just staring at me. I only ordered two things. When it finally did come it was terrible. The croissant looked pretty but was cold and awful. The coffee was cold after I asked the guy if the coffee was hot! Of course I felt pushed out since all these other people were waiting for me to move. So I drove off and threw the $15 worth of nothing in the trash! What a disappointing and...
