Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Friendswood

I wanted to edit my review and remind everyone that DQ isnt just for burgers or blizzards they have other yummy items to enjoy. I mentioned the Tacos before and now I want to elaborate on them. 3 crispy, crunchy tacos put together with great care. We got them at 5:54 and when we sat down to eat about 6:10 they were perfect. The taco shells are very thin and my 1st thought is to hold over my plate because when I bite in its going to break and crumble to peices, that never happens. In fact I saved one to have later tonight for a snack. I wasn't expecting it to still be a taco but rather a fork needed snack, Wrong! That little taco stayed in its perfect form up to 12;20 when I finished the last perfect bite. If you still haven't tried DQ Tacos I dont know what you are waiting for! 🌮🌮🌮👍🥴

Who doesnt love a Chocolate Dipped Vanilla Cone! Dairy Queen has been a part of Friendswood and providing good food and yummy treats since we m lo ved here in 1994. The Crunchy Tacos beat the other local fast food places hands down! At least that is my opinion and if you ever stop in make sure you try the Onion Rings. The drive thru is really slow. There was only one car in front of me, but it took close to twenty minutes to finally get my food. The ordering menu itself is aged and has items on it that are Xed out or have a note attached that says bot in stock. You would think for a nationwide chain that they could just update the menu. The workers also do not provide a cheerful experience usually. Another thing about the drive thru is when you leave the queue it is very dark behind the building and often seems sketchy and precarious. The food itself is only ok. The fries are mediocre. The Blizzards of course are amazing, which granted Dairy Queen an extra star in this review. It would be great if Dairy Queen could work to fix their current issues at the establishment, but, with Sonic having a much better food choice, being well lit, and more welcoming, it is the preferred spot to fulfill any ice cream "blast" or...

The staff is untrained in customer service. 99% of the time there is no greeting at the drive thru order menu, just a "What's your order?", especially from the little short snot nosed pale faced girl. There is no "Thank you". I have to make them repeat the order so I can get some sort of confirmation. I have to ask them for a receipt. Pretty much shoves the food out of the window to me before I can ask condiments. The little girl is the worst. She'll see me checking my burger, then sees me waiting for her to open the window so I can give the burger back for corrections, but she'll turn her back to me and talk to co-workers. Obviously, this behavior is acceptable to the owner, since he hasn't bothered to train them. She's not the only bad window worker...she's just the worst. If she hates working there that much, she should go do...
