If you ever want a lesson in how not to run a restaurant, come here. I literally drive 15 mins farther to another Papa John's now just to avoid this hell hole.
I've ordered from here about a dozen times in the last 4 months. Got a bunch of gift cards at Costco on discount so I'd been trying to use those.
Sometimes it's fine. Sometimes they're actually nice. But twice I've had complete disaster experiences that now I avoid here like the plague.
1st time: Ordered pickup through the app. Showed up 20 mins later and clearly they were understaffed. Their ingredient delivery was all strewn across the restaurant. One guy trying to man the counter. A girl trying to cook and cut Pizzas at the same time. Sure enough, my order wasn't ready and they said it'd be 5 mins. The girl got frazzled, lost track of the oven and a pizza fell on the ground from the conveyor oven (not mine). She panicked and went to remake it. Then the counter guy handed off the wrong order to someone else at carryout and they had to remake that. I hung around for another 20 minutes and my order never came out. Asked if I could have an ETA and the girl told me my order would be out in two minutes. I could see the conveyor belt was empty and asked how that could be the case when there's no Pizzas cooking. She shrugged and went outside to smoke. I asked the guy at the counter to refund my order and he said he couldn't because I'd paid via gift card. So I left.
A month later I got stupid enough to try and order from here again, this time delivery through the Papa John's app. 45 mins goes by and my food gets left at my front door (contact less delivery). I go and grab my order and open it up, it's the wrong order. I've got some other Jason's carryout order. I call the store and the guy on the phone starts panicking cause the other Jason just walked in to pick up his food, and now they've got to remake his order. I ask when I can expect my order to be re-delivered and the guy tells me they have no drivers, they'd sent a GrubHub delivery guy to send my order and he can't contact him to come back. I ask what he recommends and he tells me if I want to come pickup my order, he'll "make sure I'm taken care of".
Annoyed I hop in the car. Drive over. Guy behind the counter hands me my order. The boxes are burning hot cause it's been sitting under the heat lamp for an hour. I ask the guy if he remade the order and he says he didn't cause the right Pizzas are in the boxes he just handed me. I asked what he was going to do to "take care of me" for the hassle and he tells me that he put two extra garlic sauces in my boxes. I told him that wasn't acceptable considering I had to wait an hour, pay $5 for delivery, tip the driver, and then still drive over to pick up my order, which has now been sitting for an hour. Guy tells me "well ya but now you got two extra free Pizzas sitting at home, so we're square, have a good night". He then starts helping another customer. I was so frustrated I just left.
Whoever runs this franchise location either doesn't care, is totally clueless, or has no business being in the restaurant industry. I called Papa John's corporate to share my story and they directed me to call the store and handle it with the local operator. Makes sense now why this franchisee continues to operate this way. No accountability from...
Read moreI had the absolute worst day ever and Papa John's made the biggest and best difference difference. Today the alarm didn't go off; I got the kids to school 30 seconds after the bell; I spilled coffee EVERYWHERE on the way to work which put me at my meeting 40 minutes late; I was so slammed at work that I missed lunch; my conference call ran long so I was late picking up my daughter after school and therefore we were late to gymnastics and therefore I got the crappy seat in the back at gymnastics; then gymnastics ran late so we got to do the walk of shame picking up brother after the daycare closed. At 7:17pm we all sat in the car in front of the house and I just cried. I work 17 hour days and have absolutely no support at home yet have to somehow raise and feed everyone, help with homework, clean everyone's clothes, wash the sheets, keep a clean house, the list goes on...I sat there and felt invisible and alone and of course in that very moment I realized nobody had eaten dinner. I was starving and pizza is a family favorite so I took a shot in the dark. I called Papa John's and a cheerful guy named Ryan greeted me on the other end. I asked how long their delivery time was right now and he said about 30 minutes. That made me sad, but I really didn't have another option. I ordered and he said it would be 30 minutes. NINE MINUTES LATER our doorbell rang!!!! Papa John's saves the day! I don't think I've ever tasted a better pizza in my life. I'm so grateful for the little things like this. It's hard to find quick and reliable pizza delivery these days, but quick and reliable pizza delivery at an awesome price, amazing taste, and fantastic service? You can only get that here. Thank you Ryan and Papa John's team! You gave me just the grace and...
Read moreI WOULD NOT ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION!! Trust all the other reviews and save yourself the disappointment. Unfortunately, this is the only location that delivers to my house and for the last 2 years I’ve been disappointed every single time. There’s always a different excuse as to why they messed up your order. I love Papa John’s Spicy Italian, however, this location can’t get their own pizza right. There’s never enough cheese even when you ask for extra cheese. I’ve asked for extra cheese more than once and it arrives and the cheese doesn’t even cover the sauce they put on it. I typically try every 4-6 months hoping their GM or Owner will see these reviews and demand more from their employees. They’re making a pizza....not a 5 course meal here. My latest and last encounter here happened today. I called and wasn’t even greeted or said hello to until i was on hold for 7 minutes. I ordered our pizzas and asked for extra cheese since it’s not my first go around with this location. I ordered crushed red pepper and Parmesan and the gentleman on the phone asked me how many of each and I said 8. I only said 8 because the last time i ordered it...the delivery driver said he didn’t see it in the notes and apologized. Didn’t offer to bring some back or any other solution. He told me it would be 30 minutes. After an hour and 10 minutes of waiting the pizza arrived...no red pepper, Parmesan, and once again a cheese shortage. I will NEVER order from them again and suggest you order from a competitor who will listen and get your...
