For those who love Ramen and for those who wanna get introduced to it ! This is the place . Very humble staff and servers . Their hospitality is another level . It was my second visit here and I am wondering why I dint post a review earlier. But like it’s said Better Late Than Never so here it is :) It is my daughter’s 12th birthday today and this is where she wanted to have dinner again , she loves ramen and this place for its atmosphere, cozy , comfortable and loving. We ordered a bunch of food - spicy edamame, cucumber salad, Thai tea , Chaachu pork bun , different types of Ramen , spicy fried rice - tofu and chicken . Everything was so Flavorful, fresh, good quantity . If there was a rating higher than 5 stars I would give that .. since it was my daughters birthday for that matter any birthday celebration they take a Polaroid pic of you and you have a couple things they offer complimentary for your bday . My daughter chose to have the mochi ice cream and that was spot on .its was a platter with 3 movhi and 3 ice cream sandwiches . the owner is so friendly , loving and she made my daughter’s day rememberable with her kind gestures . The most authentic place we have found with regards to food, flavors and care :)
Sorry for the long post but it was much needed as this gem needs...
Read moreLet me tell you, we’ve been here twice already, and it’s just as good every time! The first time we ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen, korokke, and mixed tempura, and we loved it so much we got the exact same thing on our second visit.
This place truly reminded us of Japan, from the food to the cozy atmosphere and all the cute little signs around the restaurant. One thing I really love is that they give you your own personal squeeze bottle of spicy sauce with the ramen, so you can adjust your spice level just how you like it. And the fact that they gave us two bottles so we didn’t have to share? Such a thoughtful touch, small gestures like that really stand out to me.
The korokke had that perfect crunch on the outside and soft, flavorful potato inside. And the mixed tempura was just like what you’d find in Japan, shrimp, mushrooms, okra, lotus root, broccoli, asparagus, and sweet potato. Honestly, I’ve been to a lot of Japanese restaurants, and I’ve never had such a great variety of tempura anywhere outside of Japan.
The service here is also amazing, everyone’s so kind, attentive, and welcoming. Definitely swing by if you’re craving authentic Japanese flavors. You’ll love it as much as we...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I normally go to Ninja Ramen but we were on this side of town and decided to try Wahta. Their Gyoza was great! We liked it better than Ninja’s. We ordered their Miso Ramen and we asked for certain vegetables to be left out which they still ended up leaving the black mushrooms in mine after asking for none which is not a huge deal I took most out however their Pork Broth was EXTREMELY salty therefore making the curly noodles salty as well. Luckily since I ordered their spicy Miso, their spicy sauce made it a little less noticeable but unfortunately that wasn’t the case for my girlfriend who ordered their regular Miso. The staff attempted to fix the issue by bringing a bowl of a different broth but it tasted like water. Sadly my gf barely ate any of her Miso and I could not finish all of mine and we still had to pay the full bill for the one she did not like or eat.
I would still suggest for you to try it out, we might have just been there on a bad day and the broth was just extremely salty. However we will stick to Ninja Ramen...
