During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of indulging in both their sushi and hibachi offerings, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional.
The restaurant's ambiance is inviting, striking a harmonious balance between modern elegance and traditional Japanese aesthetics. The interior is thoughtfully designed, creating a comfortable atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience.
Sushi Selection
The sushi menu at JANA STEAKHOUSE is extensive, featuring a variety of rolls that cater to both traditional tastes and adventurous palates. I opted for the Spicy Tuna Roll and the Beauty Roll. The Spicy Tuna Roll showcased fresh tuna with a delightful kick, while the Beauty Roll combined flavors and textures that were both innovative and satisfying. Each piece was meticulously crafted, highlighting the chefs' dedication to quality and presentation.
Hibachi Experience
The hibachi experience is where JANA STEAKHOUSE truly shines. Seated around a teppanyaki grill, guests are treated to a live culinary performance by skilled chefs. Our chef was not only proficient in his cooking techniques but also infused the session with humor and interactive elements, making it an engaging spectacle for all ages. I chose the filet mignon and shrimp combination, and both were cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and complemented by well-seasoned vegetables and fried rice.
Service and Staff
The staff at JANA STEAKHOUSE are attentive and courteous. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and promptly seated. Our server ensured that our drinks were replenished, and any special requests were accommodated without hesitation. The seamless coordination between the servers and hibachi chefs contributed to a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.

Read moreI rarely do poor reviews simply because for the most part I believe people honestly try to do a good job. My 2 stars, was not for the service, although took over 5 minutes to get a refill on my $2.75 soda. I was about to just go up to the bar and as for a refill. Maybe, it was just too busy.
I read previous reviews, and many suggested it was overpriced. I wholeheartedly agree! We ate two adults and two children under 12 and it was over $75, throw 18% automatic gratuity and we left having spent $94. We were with another family of four, but we ate at the Hibachi grill anyways which would not cook for 4 people by themselves. I am not upset about that, because I tend to tip over 15% all the time.
So here is my frustration, 2 people ordered steak and shrimp, and 1 ordered steak and chicken. There is an $11 up charge to share a plate with a child in which chef would supposedly cook a larger portion of Steak and Shrimp for me to split with my son. Perfect I thought. So the the chef only cooks three steaks, each the same size. Where is the additional portion? My wife ordered the same and she had 7 pieces of shrimp. So for the $11 dollar up charge to share my steak and shrimp plate, I had to split my same size steak, and my son got 4 shrimp and I got 4. To sum it up, for $37 my son and I had 6 half inch size pieces of steak and 4 shrimp each. To complement the meal, almost 3/4 of the plate with fried rice, and some vegetables. By the way, no noodles, which is a first for me to see not served. My 11 year only was still hungry, so I gave him 2 of my shrimps and made him a grilled cheese at home. This place goes in my never again places to spend or recommend. Not for the service although not the greatest, rather the pricing. Seems like 32259 is like the new 90210 if you know what I mean. Apologies if you do...

We decided to celebrate my son’s birthday at Jana Japanese Hibachi Steakhouse on a weekday. With the place being not too busy, we were promptly seated, which was a nice start. Our waitress was fast and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed in a timely manner.
We opted for a hibachi table for some entertaining family fun, and the chef definitely delivered! He was engaging and interactive, especially with the kids, who loved the show. However, I will say that the fire aspect startled them a bit—it was indeed quite hot and flaming!
As for the food, it was a bit of a mixed bag. The rice was drenched in soy sauce, overpowering any subtle flavors it might have had. The chicken was unfortunately overcooked, lacking the juicy tenderness one would hope for. On the brighter side, the veggies and steak were quite good, so it wasn’t a total loss.
The end of the night took a disappointing turn for us. We requested some yum yum sauce to go, considering we had quite a bit left over. The girl at the counter responded by laughing and making comments with the manager in their language. I found this behavior unprofessional and somewhat disrespectful, as it felt like they were mocking our request rather than treating us with the courtesy expected in an upscale environment.
Given this experience, I’m afraid we won’t be returning. I expected a higher level of professionalism, especially in the dining atmosphere of this area. A great birthday celebration can easily be marred by poor service and attitude, and this one was...
