We have eaten here on and off for 2 years. My wife wasn't feeling great so my 15 year old daughter went in to order and they cut back on the portions. Ordered 4 qty. 3 item combos where rice and noodles were short and entrees were barely more than 2 items. I really wouldn't mind if this wasn't $65. Oriental Chinese Cuisine in Placentia has a family deal that's less expensive with more food but it's made fresh instead of prepared dishes. If only they were closer than Hot Wok. Overall I'm disappointed with the portions and quality for the price. It used to be a good deal where price met quantity for value. They need to pick a lane, be affordable with nice servings, or increase quality with less portions. And don't jump on opportunistic sales and take advantage of 15 year old girls.

This “was” my very favorite chinese restaurant for barbecue pork for the past 20 years. Recently moved from their original location to a new location on West Orangethorpe about a mile away… That in and of itself is no big deal, however i having been coming to this restaurant for 20 years and I did not recognize a single person in the new restaurant, and while the recipes seem to be the same the quality of the food was not. The barbecue pork was dry, the beef was bland. I might give it one more try… But it was very disappointing for how far away it is from where I live.

Nice restaurant to eat Chinese food. Price is okay! I have been coming for more than 10 years. Customer service is really good. Friendly staff! Today the Chicken Teriyaki was really dry and hard. BBQ Pork was black and dry at the ends. The Jalapeño Spicy Chicken had sooo much pepper that that was all you could taste rather than spicy jalapeños. Honey and Orange Chicken has too much breeding. Chow Mein and rice are usually good at all times. I would usually give them 5 stars but not today.

I tried this place for the first time. A great disappointment, the only thing you can't screw up is core Chow Mein. It was flavorless, like a chopped cup of noodles without seasoning. The orange chicken was a 5 out 10. The BBQ pork was a 5 out of 10. Won't be coming back for $10 a plate. The staff while mildly neutral. Their service was okay. I honestly threw most of the noodles into the trash bin.

Place used to be good back when they were next to the AMC20 in Fullerton. They raise the price and started charging a mandatory 10% gratuity fee. Then I asked for a refill on the soda (Since they charged me an extra 10%) they had the audacity to still charge me 1.25 for a refill and I cancelled the drink. My friends, family and I won’t be coming back anymore.

5/27/2024 = 3 Star = Bought party tray for a Barbecue Pork , Taste good but little pricey for $80.00 1/13/2022 = 4 star = Still okey , just minus 1 star coz they never smile on time of visit . 6/18/20 = 5 star = good food , price not bad , you can use visa or master card , no minimum payment.
