Shorty'z — Restaurant in Fullerton

Got their BLT and let me tell ya...they do not short change you in the bacon department! I like The fact that they use green leaf lettuce instead of the cheaper iceberg lettuce like many places do. And they give you a decent amount of it as you can see in the pictures. They grill the bread with a little bit of butter along with serving the BLT with freshly sliced tomatoes. For $7.00, I highly recommend.

The service there was exceptional, all the girls were sociable and absolutely kind. Whoever does the hiring does a great job!

They practice social distancing guidelines very carefully and while I was there all I could see were multiple employees wiping down and cleaning the windows, the doorhandles, and all surfaces potentially touched by anyone. There was just an order out from the governor to stop all indoor dining and I noticed that this restaurant had all the chairs on top of their tables so that no one can sit down and eat. They are definitely compliant and very responsible. There’s been some places that I’ve been to that I decided not to make my purchase because the workers there we’re either unmasked or I would see that they weren’t up-to-date on their guidelines . I would definitely say this is a very very Covid safe place to get your food. They also have outdoor seating next to Placentia street.

And You just have to love small business owners like this who give back to community By sponsoring youth sports. They are helping the children, your children. Let’s be thankful to small businesses like this and give back to them by supporting them by eating more burgers, BLTs, steak and eggs, and all the delicious food that they have to offer here.

I wish some people would just put on a mask and stop trying to harass that 20 year old who works at Costco over your civil liberties. Have empathy for nurses and all the first responders along with servers, cashiers, etc. who have to work crazy overtime and risks their lives everyday serving your food and/or protecting you via being in Covid’s harms way. God...

After these ghastly ga..darn you know what we've all been threw, years.. Was not ever thinking of, or eating like I just did! Wish I could'a took some pics 4-ya, but ya kno how eht goez!! Familia got the chocolate chip panquekis combo, French toast combo and veggie burger wit onion rings... And yes!! We all dipped on each others...

Not getting all religious righ nawz, but I do believe in the All Mighty who is forgiving; My doctor, after consuming and partaking of all this delicious sumptuousness😋😛😜 Not so much.

The food alone n'ough said... Service also above and beyond spectacular. Cause look like a Mexican tyne estupe... I got there almost closing time. Even asked to take it to go, but they insisted that I stay and eat there.

In short, like many, many, and once again many had a bit of a rough stretch... during and post, excuse my language this hijo de la ching@duh pendej'mic.

So in closing.. As snoop do'dub'g so famously said in one of his lyrics... And again excuse my language... Can we get a mother🙈🙉🙊🤫 moment of silence for this small chronic break! Only not the "chronic" of the 90's, or chronic tacos, but for Shorty'z in Placentia👏👏👏 My new Chron'...

Quick Summary: Open only from 7am to 3pm. Food is amazing, choices are great, staff is always helpful and kind. An absolute must-try if you're looking for a new breakfast and lunch location.

There's just too much good stuff going on at Shorty'z. I've been going since they've first opened, and even then I knew this was going to be a staple location for local cuisine. First off, the food is incredible, every time. Their breakfast is top-tier, and I'm pretty sure they have some of the best french toast I've ever had. Lunch is no different, with their burgers being absolutely delicious. They also have plenty of options for those not looking to get a burger, from sandwiches to salads, with the Club sandwich actually being one of my favorites. It is only open from 7am to 3pm, and it can get incredibly busy during the breakfast hours over the weekends, but that's only a testament to how great a spot Shorty'z is. If you haven't tried it yet and you live somewhere close, stop being a dummy, grab a friend, and go get some great food...
