Waited at the hostess stand for about 8 minutes before I asked the bartender if we just seat our selves. Food all over the floor and employees just standing around talking. Mind you the bus boy seen us twice and I made eye contact we a group stand back towards the kitchen. Once the hostess find sat us our server was arrived. The whole hr and half we were there our server was prompt and nice. We ordered appetizers and sides to share like Buffett style at our table knowing we will be taking leftovers home like we normally do. The sweet tea had so much sugar the glass left a syrup ring on the table from where the tea spilled. I love sweet tea but it was just pure sugar. Our bread wasn’t even warm. The fried mushroom were soggy. The steakhouse Mac and cheese tasted like I just had a spoon of black peppercorn. The loaded baked potato was was covered covered in salt and cold, the cheese was only slightly melted probably from sitting under the heat lamp. My sweet sriracha chicken was not drizzled with sweet sriracha sauce, some were room temp and others just cold. The loaded potato soup tasted more like a celery soup. The seared peppered Ahi was fine but the salad thing on the side was just blah. Our server came with boxes and we told her we wouldn’t need any because we aren’t taking anything home even though we only took a bite from each dish except the Ahi tuna. Our server has the manager take everything off. The manager comes over and apologizes saying she knows what happened and it’s not our fault so she removed the chicken bites and the mushrooms plus $10 dollars off. I then proceeded to tell her what was wrong with every dish and that we didn’t take more then a bite of each thing minus the 6 thin inch slices of tuna. The manager sad that the Mac and cheese sausage is prepackaged and they don’t add anything and next time they do offer a different Mac and cheese. So I’m really pissed at this point and I told the manager they need a different supplier for where they get there Mac and cheese sauce because every other Outback doesn’t have Mac and that awful. Yes we showed up at 9:30 when they close at 11 and yes we weren’t seated till 9:48 so our order was put in till almost 10 and I’m sure the kitchen was just ready to go home. But damnnnn the service was awful minus the one waitress. The food was cold and disgusting. The manager just had an excuse and attitude.. This place needs to get their act together and give our waitress a raise for being the only decent thing about our whole experience their. After going back and forth with the manager she said it fine just go. So we got up and left...
Read moreA pretty big hit, with some tiny misses, that's how I would sum up the review i'm about to leave below, so if you're in need of a quick overview, that would be it, if you want more of a run down? Look below.
I've been here a couple times, it's actually surprisingly one of the better Outback locations, i've never been served overly fatty food, the food usually tastes amazing and I wish some of their chefs would come closer to Outback locations closer to my home.
The wait is never entirely too long, at least not in the experiences i've had, my fiance and I were visiting my parents and we decided to go have dinner and see a movie right after, some of us ended up getting the same dishes so instead of taking redundant shots, we just photographed the unique dishes each person got.
In under five minutes of standing around, we were taken to a moderately sized table and it was quite busy at the time, the atmosphere was great and our server was pretty speedy about things, she brought us our drinks and we ordered in normal fashion, we got to sit around and talk for a bit before the food was brought out to us, not all of it mind you cause my mashed potatoes were still cooking for some reason, I didn't question it however, I had my steak and was ready to chow down.
And by George, what a steak it was! I didn't have but a small piece of fat on mine and for a guy who usually hates fat on his food, I ate every last piece of that steak and it was filled to the brim with flavor, I found myself done first and eating last, because my potatoes had arrived late and they were the most disappointing part about the meal, they were bland, they tasted burnt even though there were no visible indicators that they had been and it just wasn't very enjoyable.
With that being said however, I had just eaten a mildly expensive steak for the normal joe and it was absolutely delicious, the loaded potato soup was also a nice side treat that I bare no complaints with, you pair this overall moderately fantastic meal with good service and you're setting yourself up for a great night out.
So if you feel like treating yourself, this is one of the locations that I can recommend that usually keep to a certain standard, that unfortunately other Outbacks tend to let...
Read moreWhen I saw the 3.6 rating I should have stopped there, but my party of 10 needed somewhere to go that would be able to accommodate us as a group. We called an hour ahead and was told there would be no problem; to come at 12:30 and we would be seated soon after. We arrived on time and didn’t mind a small wait around the bar area while another group was finishing their meals. What we did mind was that we were not actually seated until about 1:30, meanwhile a party of seven that had not called ahead sat and ate at a table we clearly could have fit at. To compensate for our long wait we were offered two free appetizers, however, the problem did not stop there. Our appetizers (blooming onion & steak dip) took another 45 minutes to come out. We’ve now been in this restaurant for close to two hours with no food. Our salads came out about five minutes before TWO of ten meals came out. Those two people then waited another 15 minutes for the rest of us to get our food. Other people have been seated, fed, and have left at this point, mind you. It’s not like the entire restaurant has been backed up, and this is at half capacity. The food was mediocre, at best. Not anything worth $20 a meal & being held inside of a building for nearly three hours. When the waitress brought our bills everything was full price. No one came and apologized further for the wait, or that we had to ask for our correct orders to be brought out. We went Karen (politely) & once a manager was mentioned our table was abandoned completely. Our troubles were finally addressed, with the manager blaming every thing BUT the actual problem. I see that according to other reviews our experience was somewhat typical. We arrived at this restaurant at 12:30 and did not leave until 4:00. I do not write this to get a, “when you’re here, you’re family” response from the owner. This is NOT how anyone respectable would treat family, which might be the source of the problem? I write this to hopefully ward off others that are in hopes for a good meal and experience. This building welds neither. I could have practically traveled to the real Out back, had a genuine steak on the Barbie, and back home before we were released...
