✅ Indoor seating ✅ Affordable pricing 🧐 This location is run by young people with horrible customer service. They did not greet us. Our food/to go order was sitting in the window waiting to be bagged and passed off for some time. I had to ask the female front desk workers Melanie and Maria to give me my food. 🧐 The charro beans 🫘 are nasty. They are prepared with bacon or some other meat.
When they first served me my order, they gave me a styrofoam container that barely had any beans and was mainly soup. When I complained, the red head at the front counter told me that’s just how they are. I replied they shouldn’t be because I’ve ordered them at several other authentic Mexican restaurants and I shouldn’t be able to count the number of beans in a container. I then asked the man working in the kitchen to replace the beans and he happily did so and apologized. 🧐 The refried beans are nasty too and have an after taste. 🧐The food didn’t have any flavor including the watery salsa. 🚫 The pork was horrible and charred. My sister couldn’t even eat it. 🚫 I don’t recommend this location and don’t plan to return.
At the time of posting, we visited here once on August 31, around 5:55 pm.

Read moreI’m rectifying and editing my review at this location This location is on Kalamazoo in the clockwise plaza near family fare after Speaking to the owner Daniel I ordered 3 steak tacos with chips and guacamole my husband picked my food up and when brought home the guacamole was enough to give your 1 year old so they put some salsa in the bag and told my husband they didn’t have a enough guacamole and charged my husband $11.10 when initially the order was $15 and change so I was cool with that after my husband told what he paid no problem no issue until I open the salsa and there was white mold in the salsa and it smelled also the limes where soft and old like with a Tan color and they smelled so I called to speak to owner got a women who I explain the issue she offered to fix my food but after seeing mold I declined I’m not eating spoiled food she then acted like she didn't believe me so I offered to send photos she then argued with me saying the limes were fresh and cut today I eat limes all the time I can tell you honey these limes was not fresh they were old and had spots on them so because I felt she was rude about it I declined and she hung up on me apparently the owner found out about it and reached out I really appreciate that he showed he cared about his customers and his business he was willing to fix the issue and offered my money back and replaced the order he was very genuine and kind and that’s all a customer wants is to acknowledge there was a problem and fix it. And that’s what the owner did and I’m grateful so thank you Daniel for reaching out and helping me out I...
Read moreIn general I love Tacos El Cunado food, so I was pretty excited when I learn this location closest to my home was opening , but in hope of improvement and to take it as constructive criticism, the lengua wasn't that flavorful, the Tortillas were not warm well enough, the tamales verdes were very thin with barely any meat or salsa . You guys got way better at Tamales Mary , the salsa at least one spicy will be appreciated. And the packing for the kids meal, since the taco was not covered in Aluminum wrap, like it's cover when u order tacos on its own, the taco got watery and soggy .Please cover all tacos with Aluminum foil when to go , even if it's for kids . Also keep in mind Kentwood community has a lot of diversity and lot of people in this community do appreciate spice and in general, I feel food needed more flavor , perhaps more love ! I say this because I know Tacos El Cunado can do better and other locations are usually packed with a lot of flavor. This location was not what I had expected from u guys, hope it improves and it was just a bad day, I will come back...
