Checkers — Restaurant in Gainesville

They deserve negative ⭐'s. JUST SAY 🚫👎

Besides every cop in the county was posted up 1 block down ~ drive thru was packed out. Ordered online to pick up 13 minutes later. Waited for 20 minutes with nothing moving. Finally went up to window and was told no hot dogs or chili. Asked for another burger instead. Ordered (online and paid for it) 1 baconzilla burger, 2 chili dogs, 2 medium fries, 2 Icees and a cheesecake sundae. We got 1 burger and a small fry. It's 4am on a Sunday morning. There's nothing else to eat and we are staying in a hotel. Guess it could've been worse. Let's be proactive MANAGERS of Checkers, if you don't have enough food for the night or for the event, let it be known. Or better yet stock the store accordingly. 🙄😑

Update 6/24/2021: I have responded via email per the request of the comment below. And have gotten nothing back or heard from anyone. I've left emails and three messages. Thank you for your timely response in this matter. As of today I have yet to hear back from anyone other than this email from you. This is all extremely unacceptable practice. As a former manager and someone who has worked in retail for 10+ years, I would be embarrassed and humiliated if one of my employees or if one of my customers was left waiting for a response more than 25 hours. Your company has yielded no customer service etiquette or shown any type of remorse for my inconvenience.

the food is the (BEST!) ON 13TH street, the (FOOD) IS ALWAYS REALLY FRESH!.. At times they are under staff!, the MANAGERS! try their (BEST!) to keep people happy, a lot of times I see only 2 or 3 cooks, that's about it, I know? the business very well, I been a chef for 17yrs, in ATLANTIC-CITY, NJ. They are over work, and under-paid$$.. its really messed up! for the cooks. I do go there most of the time at this one location. They made a few mistakes on my order, but they did correct my order right away!.. I really like their (BUFORD-BURGERS!) ALOT!.. They are better then Mc, Donalds, burger king. Also! they have good promotions, right now! they have 2 BUFORD burgers for $5bucks, that is cheap! and they are thick burgers for the PRICE$!. they had this for over 2 months so far.. The French fries are really good, they have the (BEST!!) FRENCH FRIES!) then any (FASTFOOD) place! they, are (ASS-KICKING) FF, ALSO! TRY THE BACON-ZILLA FFS!, with your burgers!..PS! Extremely unsatisfied, After having to fast for a procedure at Shands hospital the first thing I wanted was a checkers burger and fries, Where can I start ,First I stood at the window for over 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged me, next when making an order the person left the window and me standing to wait for an additional 5 min while they gossiped , I was willing to Wait for a checkers burger... While waiting and a door Dasher was trying to pick up the food the order taker walked across the street to a gas station with the headset on ignoring the both of us waiting in line, Crossed the street not at the cross walk after an additional 15 minutes our food came out the burgers burnt and super salty ( I love salt but it was like dumping a container of it on all the patties) The fries 100% refried being as they were cooked before than dunked in the grease for a few seconds and the chicken tenders refried and no dipping sauce, For those that think I may be being picky look at my profile on past reviews of other restaurants I typically give rave reviews, don't walk but run from this location , 34 bucks wasted on two...
