I LOVE this space. It is a green place where people sit together. I went to UF, beginning in May 1985, (Class of 89'.) So, I started in this great park (between the libraries) where Krishna lunch used to be the way I survived. TYš! It used to be a sidewalk. It looks like they've paved it, making it wider, and possibly planted bushes!
I think I NEED to go over there, and check it out. They tried building some type of pulpit there, (out of brick and cementš,) but, we fought them on it, and won. Keeping it green and grass abd trees...nothing else!
Making it so people can't gather and talk, is wrong. The Plaza of The Americas WAS an amazing place. I hopešit still is.
It needs to ALWAYS be kept green grass, and trees, and NEVER have anything...
