Booked a single night stay for 2 rooms here and when we showed up there were 2 doorbells to choose from. Pushed the ring doorbell and the buzzer for 5 minutes before a man came to the door. He processed the paperwork for 1 room and even after showing him the booking confirmation that clearly said TWO KING ROOMS he still argued about it. He finally proceeded to get me the two rooms I had paid for and when we got into them it stunk like smoke. There was a cockroach in the shower that I washed down the drain, and hair all over the bathroom floor. The bed sheets had holes burned through them like someone had put a cigarette down on it, and the sheets didn’t look fresh. Super sketchy to say the least, and the bed creaked like nothing I have ever heard before. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SANITY and go pay an extra $50 to go to a hotel chain somewhere else and get a place where you know it’ll be clean and you’ll get proper service!

I had to be in the area for one night and all the other hotels nearby were WAY more expensive. If you're on a budget, this is the place. Check-in was seamless. The room comes with all the typical amenities, albeit with dated furniture. It has sort of a rustic feel to it. New TVs, and the bathroom was clearly redone recently. The shower is the old-fashioned motel style, which I personally love. The bed was also really, really decent for a motel. If I have to come back to Gainesville, I'm definitely booking this place again. The location is near UF campus, so the motel is super conveniently placed right in the neighborhood of everything you may need. I also walked around quite a bit and found restaurants galore. Again, for the price, you can't beat it.

Honestly, I would never stay here again. The rooms were dirty, outdated, and felt pretty "sketchy". Room smelled like cigarette smoke. Floors were filthy and turned our feet black with dirt. Towels and hangers seem like they just came from someone's house-- one towel was covered in what looked like old grease stains. I saw 2 roaches during our one night. Shower looked and felt like a jail shower, and was not clean. No dish for the bar of soap. The ice bucket had mold on it. AC was insanely loud. Signs posted at the counter insist that you only have 10 minute after check-in to get a refund. Area was not great. The only redeeming quality was that the bed was pretty comfortable. Spend your money elsewhere if you can!

Our king bed was comfortable and bathroom was good. Everything was clean and neat. The A.C. was turned on by a switch next to the tv but I couldn't turn it down or anything. It tended to drown out the tv a bit while watching with the A.C. on so I felt like the tv was too loud when I turned the volume of the tv up and tried to hear over A.C. It also got too chilly for me. It blew right across the bed, which would have been nice if I could have turned it down a bit so it wasn't as cold. There was a epte for the A.C. but I couldn't seem to get it to work. Not a huge deal as I made my signifcant other sleep closest to the A.C. and just snuggled up under the blankets, but the tv thing was a bit more frustrating for me (I didn't want to disturb other guests or anything). The room had a mini fridge with a small freezer section and microwave. It had a dresser, a couple chairs and a small table as well as one night stand. They did have an outdoor pool with hours of 9 am to 6 pm, I believe. The location was perfect - right in the middle of the it all. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, I liked this hotel and would stay here again. Location was a big factor as it's close to everything and it was a...

I reviewed this place on Expedia recently bc that's who I booked with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and didn't have a weird odor or anything and the staff up front was nice. The parking lot is extremely well-lit so I felt safe leaving my vehicle out front overnight. We were able to park right in front of our room. The location is perfect. We stayed there so my husband could see his doctors at Shands and it's literally a mile from the hospital and located right near a lot of food and shopping options. The rates are great too. It's not a super modern hotel but it was updated enough with all of the essentials. (Microwave, mini fridge, ice bucket, cable TV with a flat screen, free wifi, hair dryer and even shampoo and soap was included). They also had soft, colored towels that smelled nice and fresh and not the usual cheap hard white towels. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and we will be staying again in June when my husband has...
