One of the delivery drivers today was providing a courtesy call which is fine -- I don't mind that at all. But I just got the nastiest, most vile attitude of all time from this delivery driver today. I didn't need any of the lip service or condescension I received but all I asked the driver to do was to place to pizza at the side door because the address he was delivering to was a place of business -- a senior living facility with moderate foot traffic. The person inside who the food was for works with elderly individuals and so I advised the driver that he can leave the food at the side door just so that it's out of the way of anyone who tries to enter. He says, "I can leave it at the front door" with the sassiest intonation you can imagine. Completely unnecessary. I pointed out his tone and even apologized if I had said anything wrong and he said "well I didn't expect for this call to be awkward" as if he didn't make the call awkward. Then he proceeded to continue telling me he would just leave it at the front door when this was not my request. He than hastily tried to shoo me off the line with a " 'Kay, you have a good day, bye" like sir really? Oddly enough I didn't forsee the delivery being such an inconvenience for him, as it is HIS job, and the last driver that completed this task gave a courtesy call and dropped the pizza off at the side door with not one peep or complaint. Two stars was gracious only because I suppose he had a bad day. But that really isn't a way to talk to a customer at all. This delivery was just around 7:00 PM on 4/18. Whoever the driver was, I get that you're going through it, but next time don't let your internalized issues seep into your work etiquette like...
Read moreOur driver was super nice & polite, even to the stray cat that has lived the cozy, well fed life that our kids have been providing for a year now. That says a lot about a person, normally people are rude to animals they don't know.
As far as the food, well, my 2 year old & I weren't too fond of the extra dark brown, crispy pieces on the pizza.. That pizza, by the way, lacked the regular amount of cheese, PLUS the extra I paid for. 🤦🏻♀️ There isn't a cheese shortage, friends.. don't be stingy with the cheese.. No person in their right mind has said "Ooo, no thanks, that's TOO much cheese on a pizza.." it's just un-American & there's too much negativity in the world to have a cheesless pizza. Speaking of the gooey goodness.. Two words.. Cheesy. Bread. Ours was baked to perfection, could have used a handful or two of more cheese for the bare spots, but it contained more cheese than the large pizza with "extra" cheese.. Paid for 2 icing cups, received one.. BUT WAIT.. I ordered 10 wings & lucky me, I scored an extra one! This is acceptable. 👌🏻 :: BTW, to a corporate side of Dominos, please find a new level of standards to choose your wings.. It never fails, yours are full of fatty skin so we have to pick at them so we only get meat, but they are so dang good that its almost worth ordering wings every time. Read moreEvery time I order delivery from this location it has been trash or either canceled. After my last two orders I filed a complaint on the manager/employee Asher for his rudeness and disrespect with the Domino's corporate center after my order was canceled due to their usual after 7:00 never having a driver available. I went to the location to find out who the employee was because he refused to give his name and he stated that because they are a franchise he doesn't have to tell me anything or speak to me and hung up in my face repeatedly. I was giving his name by an employee on duty who stated that he is nasty to them and all customers. I submitted an ordered the next day and was sent burnt/overcooked pizza prepared by Asher per the app out of retaliation for my complaint the day before. Two weeks later and I still have not had a call back from the Domino's corporate center. Employees are being treated unfairly by this manager/employee All the way down to the driver who was well aware of my previous complaint the day before and I'm not the one that mentioned it to him He brought it up to me because they recognized my name on the delivery order.
