El Indio Mexican Restaurant is a fantastic spot for anyone craving delicious Mexican food in a laid-back and welcoming atmosphere. The menu is diverse, offering everything from classic burritos and tacos to vegan and vegetarian options, ensuring there’s something for everyone. The service is incredibly fast and efficient, making it perfect for a quick bite or a full meal with friends and family. The restaurant goes above and beyond in ensuring accessibility, with wheelchair-accessible entrances, restrooms, and seating. I was also impressed by the variety of service options, including outdoor seating, delivery, and a drive-through, making it incredibly convenient no matter your preference. Parking is hassle-free, with ample free parking available in the lot or nearby. The overall atmosphere is casual yet trendy, making it a great spot for college students, groups, tourists, and even solo diners. Families with children will appreciate the kids' menu and high chairs, along with the friendly service. I particularly enjoyed the late-night comfort food offerings and the selection of beer and coffee. If you’re in the mood for quality Mexican food with exceptional service and a welcoming environment, El Indio Mexican Restaurant is a must-visit....
Read moreNot a huge fan of leaving bad reviews but I will have to since I think i may have came across a potential big issue. The “Sweet Tea” it was really bad. You might think thats not a big problem, but it wasn’t just bad, it tasted like tea flavored SEWER water. I’ve taken a couple sips to make sure (regreted I did) and even smelt it, the smell confirmed that there was something wrong with it and had to throw the whole thing away. I just hope the establishment is sanitary and clean, especially during a time like now in 2020. The tea indicated otherwise and I really really hope everything else is clean but it’s something that needs to be pointed out since customers don’t know whats going on in the kitchen. I hope the employees taste the tea before serving next time because there was obviously something wrong with it and I think anyone can spot it. On a brighter note the food was good and if I hadnt had the tea I’d probably go back but with the knowledge that things may be possibly insanitary, I dont think I can. I dont wish failure upon them but just giving them my honest opinion so they can improve. The wait time was long aswell but thats to be expected since its not a fastfood establishment. Just the tea today, other people must have...
Read moreI’ve lived here since the 70’s and have enjoyed quite a few of the local menus over the years. I’m sad to say when I went to grab some dinner last night, my disappointment was high in the food we ordered and the service we received. The drive thru line took over 25 minutes even though there weren’t that many people ordering. A car behind us even pulled out of line and left. After we ordered, the car in front of us waited on their order at least 15 minutes at the window. When we finally pulled up they tried to give us someone else’s order after they asked for a tip on the card reader. When we got our food (40.00 worth…😳) I can honestly say it was bland, lukewarm, unremarkable and NOT worth the money we paid. I treat myself occasionally (due to finances) to a meal out but this was not the treat I hoped for…. so money wasted for this month. I lived in New Mexico for two years as a travel nurse and the food there was super cheap and super good….the way you guys use to be. I’m so sorry to see local restaurants that have been declining in the quality and quantity of food for students and working folks alike. Don’t think I’ll be back and don’t know if I’d recommend my co workers and friends...
