I adore Hyppo!!! These gourmet popsicles are very tasty and unique, and great if you can’t have dairy like me. They do have dairy and chocolate covered options, for those of you who can digest lactose. There are probably 30 flavors at least, and they rotate with new flavors often. Recently they have begun offering samples of up to three specific flavors each week, so you can try more of the pops without committing to something you’ve never tried. My favorite pops are strawberry basil and pineapple cilantro. They have more flavors such as Apple Pie, wine-flavored, tons of fruit flavored pops, and options for children. The ice pops from this place are amazing. They only use natural ingredients, which in this day an age is practically unheard of. Some of their pops are water based, while in others they use milk. I ordered both types: peanut butter pie (milk based) and watermelon/hibiscus (water based), and they tasted equally fresh and delicious. I also had a chance to try mango and blueberry/grapefruit, which I strongly recommend if you like the sweet and tart profile. The attendant behind the counter was very knowledgeable and attentive, and while the place only had two tables and just a handful of chairs, it suffices for the little time you really get to spend devouring the pops. The ice cream and popsicles here are delicious, and you can get pints of any flavor they have enough of! Massive, massive shoutout to Rosa! Since me and my friends started coming regularly in early May, Rosa has been recognizing us when we come back and really making us feel welcome. She’s funny, friendly, and never makes you feel like you’re bothering her with asking for samples! She even gave me some great flavor combos (andulusia and earl grey) when I wasn’t sure what to get.
