McDonald's — Restaurant in Gainesville

STORE: Stopped by the McDonald's In Gainesville and University Avenue across from the Wawa today. I haven't been here in some years. The look is different now and the lobby has been upgraded. There are also 2 kiosks In the lobby. The store looking smell very clean. everything was organized.

FOOD: I wanted breakfast and had the full McDonald's breakfast The food was good and the biscuits were soft and moist. I had scrambled eggs, hash browns, three pancakes sausage, biscuit breakfast with the extra sausage biscuit. It also came with whipped butter and jam and syrup. Wow!😋such a great meal I remember the old days when I used to go to McDonald's.☺

EMPLOYEES: I observed an employee walking around wiping and cleaning tables and dumping trash cans her name was Anita.👍 Maybe she was one of the primary reasons why the store was so clean. Anita 👍 seemed to be very focused on her job and did her work in a pleasant manner. I was greeted by an employee named Carolyn.💫 Carolyn is a great employee! From the beginning as I waited I watched her service the people in front of me in the line. Carolyn 💫was bright eyed and was smiling and eager to work and happy, she's the type employee that you want at your job or place of business. Carolyn 💫is type employee that greets your customers and will ensure a great experience and or do the best that she can do. Carolyn 💫worked quickly ringing up items and was going back and forth getting things for various customers. It is clear that she had been trained well. I ended up craving some McDonald’s after a long workday. I came to this location with high spirits. We placed our order through drive-thru and I ordered nuggets with 3 honey mustard. I checked the bag and only saw 2 so I asked for the 3rd assuming they rang it up as I had asked for it. The cashier ended up telling me I had to pay for it (which I would have been more than happy to do because I know it costs extra since I too work in the industry of food) but to pull all the way back around and wait in line for you incompetence is ridiculous. I asked for 3 honey mustard and if you didn’t ring me up for how I ordered that’s on you. I asked for a manager all to find out that the manager was the cashier. I work in food service too and I could never imagine being so rude to someone over something so small. Lady, give me my honey mustard and I will pay for it. But you are the one who didn’t ring it up. I ended my conversation with her by just simply saying “ do better”. If you’re managing, do right by your company and not to mention the people who pay your bills. As a General Manager, educate the staff on how to deal with small situations like this. Get to the drive thru at 10.55 was told I had to wait the 5 minutes for lunch not a problem but unfortunately u can't wait in the drive thru even if no one is behind you and thats not the worst thing I came thru this drive thru and ordered 3 $3.00 bundles and of course hot fries out the oil now there was 3 cars ahead of me and knowing this very unprofessional business I knew it was about to be a wait so I waited and waited until I was next to get my food but I noticed how every car in front of me pulling over and getting out with their bags complaining about something so I get to the window and hear how an employee was trying to flirt with a customer in the drive thru with his woman in the car as I waited I noticed a bag just sitting there so when the discussion was over the flirting employee walks over to the bag opens it reaches in the bag comes to the window asks what did I order I told her and she says oh this is your food 😮 so I said yeah no I don't want that no gloves no masks did not wash her hands after the flirting scandal and it took another 10 minutes for a refund because I was definitely wrong for asking for fresh non contaminated food so I asked where is leadership your manager who is in charge and guess who the manager was you got it the flirter im done with this McDonald's and u know whats crazy this is...
