Sat in curbside for over 20 mins by the time we realized how much time had passed. Went to go inside to get order- both doors locked. Tried to call store, recording said they're not taking calls.
Finally got through the line at drive through, told them we'd been waiting for over 30 mins at this point, the answer we get? "Oh well our inside's closed". No apologies, no "let me check". No explanation WHY their inside is closed or what that has to do with their curbside. Just "Oh. Well, our inside's closed." #1 No sign saying you're closed, and you're supposed to be open completely now. #2, I DON'T WANT TO GO INSIDE ANYWAY! That's why I ordered curbside in the first place!! If the food was cold I was 100% going to tell them to remake it but it was lukewarm enough that I just decided to throw it in the microwave when I got home because I honestly don't know that the "people" working in there were competent enough to remake it if they think their inside being closed has anything to do with THEM coming OUTSIDE to deliver an order to curbside, which is a service they offer, and, again, had no sign or anything saying any part of the restaurant was closed.
Reporting to corporate too, but just wanted to warn people here. Might want to stick with the Archer Rd. location, at least until they get a new set of employees at this one. That tends to happen every few weeks, though, because no one wants to work with these miserable people who only ever smile when their baby daddy sends them money "for child support".
I know it's McDonald's, and they're known for their constant mistakes, but I just refuse to accept half-🫏 "work" when it involves my food that I've already paid for. Do your job or leave. And at least notify your customers with signs, if, for any reason you need to stray from the norm due to short staff, "broken" machines, etc. As customers, we don't know unless you take the time to tell us ahead of time.
Didn't think that even needed to be said, but then again, common sense isn't so...
Read moreWorst service EVER. I was disrespected, and robbed! This establishment didn’t give me my food and refused to give me a refund. I am a disabled veteran who was in Gainesville for a VA appointment and decided after to stop and get lunch for the hour ride home I had. I ordered through the drive through with a drive through code from the app and I received a receipt for payment. I was told by the manager she couldn’t give my food to me because the time on my receipt said 12:42pm and I was at the window at 1:18. She said my order was not in the system (even though I had a receipt) they concluded it must have been an online order and told me to pull up and wait. I pulled up and waited for 15 minutes and my food never came out. I had now been waiting for almost 40 minutes. I was in a hurry because I had to be home at a certain time to watch my children while my wife went to a doctors appointment. I went inside and asked that I receive a refund and cancel my order. I was told that the establishment does not give refunds and I would have to speak to a manager. The manager came out and I explained the situation and she proceeded to tell me I could not get a refund because my order was invalid. I asked why did I receive a receipt? There was some words exchanged and I asked that she would listen to me very carefully so I could explain the circumstances of my order and she then turned her back and stormed off and I was laughed at by the other employees and told that I should have never of said that. I then told them I wasn’t leaving until I got my money back and the manager threatened to call the police and I left. I did not receive my food or my refund. DO NOT GO TO THIS MCDONALDS!!!! It is the most disrespectful, disgusting, unprofessional establishment I have ever been to. I served my country for 8 years and never have I ever thought that I would be treated with such disrespect. I am disgusted and hope that it goes out of business and the manager...
Read moreMy family and I were really disappointed in this location. When our order came out, we were missing a sandwich and another sandwich was mislabeled. Things happen. But then when my fiancé went back to the counter to let them know, a woman who we assume was the manager on duty was actually arguing with him about our missing and incorrect sandwiches. I heard her raise her voice and looked over to see them heading to our table - instead of just accepting that there were mistakes made, which happens, she was seriously going to come rifle through our food while arguing with us. While the mislabeled sandwich was found and identified, the biscuit sandwich was not, and so we were given another. However, it was cold and really hard - my fiancé couldn't even bite into it all the way. He took it back, was met with several "oh my god, not again" comments and eye rolls, and was given a newer but still kind of cold sandwich. He said at least he could bite into it, so we kept it. As far as the attitudes and snarky little comments, I'm sorry, we expect mistakes at places like this and are very understanding, but damn. Do your job right, and don't argue when YOU make a mistake, and maybe you won't have to deal with someone returning multiple times. Let me reiterate - as servers ourselves, we understand that mistakes happen. We also understand the importance of having a somewhat pleasant attitude and apologizing instead of arguing, getting loud, demanding to see the food and check it ourselves, and then giving sub par replacements. Will be calling corporate about our little adventure here, because the attitudes, especially from the manager, were really what shocked us. Two...
