Taco Bell — Restaurant in Gainesville

I arrived at the establishment excited as always to indulge in my usual order: Three Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos Supreme, a chicken quesadilla and a Mountain Dew Baja Blast. After ordering I proceeded to pull to the window where I expected to receive the best customer service possible - although this was not the case. A young man by the name of Matthew Jobson was awaiting my payment with the most disturbing facial expressions I’ve ever seen. I assumed he had a hard day and was having trouble hiding his emotions from the customers. He proceeds to mock my language and mannerisms and whispers extremely disrespectful things under his breath. At this point I had not even given him my card to pay because he wouldn’t take it out of my hand. After a while he took it and in an attempt to publicly humiliate me he yelled, “your card was declined do you have another one”. I was shocked and said in a quiet calm voice, “ sir you have the card in backwards” he turned my card around and threw it back into my car. As I retrieved my card from the floor he threw my food at me and said I was no longer welcome there and was to never return. I had to keep myself from grabbing him and pulling him through the window but I keep calm and continued my day. Matthew Jobson should not be allowed to work in any place where he would have the chance interact with people. I suggest keeping him in the kitchen to cook. I WORKED HERE! worst work experience ive ever had i worked at a different taco bell, it was nothing like this. the managers never trained anybody expecting you to know everything without a break it felt like i was the only one in there putting in effort to make (customers happy) while i was hoping from place to place they would smoke cigarettes outside and as soon as i went to grab water they would yell at me… anyone who actually worked was seen as a mistake and belittled at every turn. no training, unless you know everything dont try n work here they cant explain to you what you need to know more then once and if you ask more then 5 questions they give you a stink eye for the rest of your time there… god forbid you get a chicken quesadilla paying more then what a pizza cost and only getting about a slice worth of what you pay for was never fun, they purposely leave the beef sitting without stirring until its dryer then a paper towel so customers dont come back and wonder why people get upset i was treated with inhumanly toxic behavior for trying to do a good job and the management also family so there wasn’t anything i could do to let corporate or anyone know what was really going on i feared if i did id be fired before i had enough money to find a better job thankfully luckily i did. i never blamed the customer for being upset because i saw exactly why i actually got two tips in my time there from customers who saw my efforts and appreciated those efforts. i only worked there a few months its all i...

this restaurant is not practicing good hygiene during this crisis! I’ve been told by one of my friends who went here a few hours ago, they went to the bathroom and were astonished by the appalling hygiene standards at this eating establishment. The first debacle they reported was one of the staff members strolled into the bathroom with gloves on however wearing no mask. the staff member immediately began to cause an uproar and cough up a cloudburst super storm of cough particles! what a disgrace in such time of panic! at least cover your mouth! then the staff member proceeded to exit the bathroom in such fashion with no mask on or even bothered to throw away the cough infected gloves, and proceeded to use the same gloves to work the drive they line and customers. Next fiasco my friend came encounter with was two female workers dining in and eating in front of customers on the job, handling food and willingly hanging it off to customers, with no mask or gloves on! Those poor customer this so called clean eating establishment is a breeding place for the virus and needs to be checked immediately. i mean IMMEDIATELY!This was truly a dissatisfaction of an experience and i hope the hygiene is boosted in this...
