To be perfectly honest, I had no idea what I was walking into. Was it Pollo Tropical , was it Chipotle? No it was Tela, and it was better than them both! I had 82,000 questions and a 3 part order - with anxiety out of this world . And the employees that helped me, amazing! He was super calm and polite- she was sweet and helpful. And everything was delicious! I told them it looked like someone’s granny was making the steak , and after getting home and indulging - someone’s granny was absolutely in that kitchen cooking lol everything was perfect! I tried Tela for the first time and had a great experience. The place looked clean and fresh, and the worker was really nice with quick service.

The menu is simple with options for bowls, burritos, or quesadillas. I went with a chicken bowl with white rice, pico de gallo, corn salsa, sweet plantain, cilantro, lettuce, hot honey vinaigrette, and chips. Everything was flavorful and well-prepared. The chicken was juicy and tender, and the hot honey vinaigrette added a great touch. I didn’t realize the chips would be mixed into the bowl, but it actually worked out nicely.

The food was amazing, they have really fresh options and the quality of the food is really great! Better than the competitors as their portions are large and the taste is amazing!! I love coming back and trying all their food, I definitely recommend! On top of that the service is really great, their staff is friendly and it has a great atmosphere! You can also tell how clean everything is kept. They have topping options that I haven’t seen before such as eggs, plantains, and cotija cheese!
