I'm going to give this place 5 stars because as a whole this restaurant has always been great. With that being said, I was very upset to go in one day and witness horrible service from the female cashier and female Cook. An elderly woman came back up to the register as I was ordering my food because they got her burger wrong. The customer was very polite when she brought up the issue to the cashier. The cashier then called the cook over and told her the issue to which the two employees started arguing back and forth over who was wrong. Right in front of the customer at that. The cashier then starts blaming the customer stating that she got the burger she wanted but was just being a "pain in the ass" again right in front of said customer. I then spoke up for the lady saying it doesn't matter who's fault it was just fix the burger. The 2 employees then parted ways and started doing what they should have done in the first place. After the customer got the corrected burger she then realized something else was wrong and approached the counter again. The cook then comes out and yells "I ain't making no more damn burgers for these people" she then went back and fixed the second problem and the customer went on her way. I was very upset with how this customer was treated so I was going to call the number found on the back of my receipt to make a complaint. I went up to the counter to get the names of the employees in question but after 5 minutes of waiting I was never approached by any of the 3 employees that were working at the time. I could however see all of them sitting in the back office on their phones. One of the employees looked at me and pointed me out to the cashier and all 3 employees looked up at me and then started laughing to each other yet no one got up to see if I needed anything. I eventually left the restaurant extremely disappointed because I had never seen such horrible service at this establishment. Again this does not reflect the over all atmosphere but I still felt this is an issue that needed to be addressed so that these "employees" cannot display such a poor example of customer...
Read moreI dont want to pacifically pick on this one Wendy’s location, but Wendy’s used to be one of my favorite fast food spots growing up. I’m 36, so I’ve had a lot of years to experience it. But I’ve been to several Wendy’s in GA last 5 or more years, and it’s just not same anymore. Shrinkflation has butchered this chain. I remember going to Wendy’s, I get this big and plump chicken sandwich’s. Bun was big, shiny and chicken hanging over the bun still. One time I could save my sandwich for later, now 3 bites and the sandwich is no more. Burgers were decent size, had some weight to them. Today I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, my wife regular chicken sandwich. Both came extremely tiny and thin. It’s same bun they use on their dollar menu Chicken BLT’s. Size of the fila’s was smaller than the chicken BLT’s. It looked so small, wimpy and pathetic. Two child size chicken sandwiches and one fry was 16 bucks. It looks like a 8 dollar meal at most. I felt cheated out of my money and both me and my wife looked at each other, both dissatisfied, disappointed and said “we should gone to chick-fila, uhh?😏. This isn’t 1st time we noticed their Items shrunk 50% basically and they’re charging more now. Do we blame Biden and his so called flourishing economy, or is it really Wendy’s corporate? All me and wife know is, never Wendy’s again. You want more food for ya money? Go to zaxpys. Yes, their prices gone up as well from a booming Biden economy, but you get waaaay more food...
Read moreHonestly, not only the worst Wendys I've ever been to, but one of the worst restaurants in Gainesville, and that says a lot. I've ordered from this location easily a dozen or more times over the years as it's the only thing on my way home, and I dread it every time. More often than not, on those nights I really don't feel like cooking after work, I'll just go to bed without eating. That's how AWFUL this location is. The food is almost always cold or has obviously been sitting under the heat lights versus being made fresh. That's if they even get your order correct. If the food wasn't enough to keep you away, the customer service and lack of hygiene practices will make you want to leave. If you go through the drive thru, the staff will barely acknowledge you and will become visibly irritated if you ask questions. If you go inside, you'll be overwhelmed with the lack of gloves, hair nets, hand washing, etc. Its been clear for years that management does not care about the customers, or the staff, for that matter. The length of time management has allowed the location to go on like this, tells me that the district manager/location owner has forgotten about this location. The franchise should be ashamed of the management involved all the way...
